Step 2: New Merchant FAQ – Plans, Hardware, Payments and Support

Summary: Answers to the questions new merchants ask most in their first week: which plan you are on, what hardware works with Qashier, how to reach support, which payments you can accept, and where to manage products and reports.

Applies to: Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand · Qashier POS, QashierHQ and QashierPay. Where an answer differs by market, it is marked [SG], [MY], [PH] or [TH].

Subscription

Q: What plan am I on?

  • [SG] New merchants are on the Qashier plan: SGD 5 per day per store (before 9% GST), deducted daily from your Qashier payouts, with no monthly bill. Payments are processed through Qashier. If you were already on an Essential or Growth plan, you keep that plan and nothing changes today.

  • [MY] Plans are the free Lite plan and the paid Essential and Growth monthly subscriptions. See [MY/PH] What's Included in the Free Lite Plan.

  • [PH] Plans are the free Lite plan and the paid Essential and Growth plans. Our team sets up your plan when you sign up. See [MY/PH] What's Included in the Free Lite Plan.

  • [TH] Plans are Essential and Growth. Our team sets up your plan when you sign up.

To see your current plan, log in to QashierHQ and click Manage My Plan at the bottom of the left menu.

Q: Can I change or upgrade my plan?

Yes. In QashierHQ, click Manage My Plan at the bottom of the left menu, then Compare other plans. [MY] [PH] If you are on the Lite plan and eligible, you will see Try Essential for Free instead, which starts a 7-day trial.

Hardware

Q: What hardware works with Qashier?

Qashier POS runs on Qashier terminals: the QashierX2, QashierXS and QashierXL Slim. Where your market offers it, it also runs on your own Android device running Android 7.0 or later. See How to Install Qashier POS on Your Own Android Phone or Tablet and How to Install the Qashier POS App on a Sunmi T2 / T2s / T2s Lite.

[SG] Qashier no longer onboards software-only POS subscriptions: the POS is sold together with QashierPay.

Q: Can I buy hardware from Qashier? What about delivery?

Yes. You can buy POS terminals, receipt printers, barcode scanners and other accessories directly from Qashier.

Delivery options and the estimated arrival time are shown at checkout. [PH] See [PH] Delivery Times, Subscription Start Date and Training Schedule.

Q: How do I print receipts?

The QashierX2 and QashierXS have a built-in receipt printer. The QashierXL Slim pairs with a Qashier receipt printer. Using your own device? See Can I Use My Own Printer or Barcode Scanner with Qashier POS?
