This article explains when QashierPay pays your card and DuitNow QR sales into your bank account in Malaysia, how the transaction fee (MDR) is deducted before payout, and the RM100 minimum payout. It is for merchants who accept payments through QashierPay in Malaysia.
Applies to: Malaysia · QashierPay card payments (Visa / Mastercard) and DuitNow QR · QashierHQ Payment Management and Payout Report. All amounts are in MYR (RM).
Minimum payout: RM100
Payouts are made only when your accumulated balance is over RM100. Smaller amounts are not lost: they roll over and are paid out together with the next payout once your balance passes RM100. This rule has applied since 1 Mar 2026.
How to apply for payment methods
DuitNow QR: apply yourself in QashierHQ. Log in, click Payment Management at the bottom of the left sidebar, then click Apply Now. See [SG/MY] How to Apply for QashierPay Payment Services in QashierHQ.
Card payments (Visa / Mastercard): contact Qashier Support and we will help you apply. See Contact Qashier Support by Phone, WhatsApp, LINE or Viber (SG, MY, TH, PH) or email [email protected].
How fees are deducted
For every transaction, Qashier deducts the MDR for that payment method and pays you the rest:
Total transaction amount − MDR = payout amount
Your exact rates are shown in QashierHQ under Payment Management > Payment methods rate details. The examples below use the published Malaysia list rates as of 1 Nov 2025; your account may have different rates.
Example 1: local credit card via BSN (1.20%)
Item | Amount | Calculation |
Total transaction amount | RM1,000.00
MDR | RM12.00 | 1.20% × RM1,000 = RM12.00 |
Payout amount | RM988.00 | RM1,000 − RM12.00 = RM988.00 |
Example 2: local credit card via Fiserv (1.40% + RM0.10 per transaction)
Item | Amount | Calculation |
Total transaction amount | RM1,000.00
MDR | RM14.10 | 1.40% × RM1,000 + RM0.10 = RM14.10 |
Payout amount | RM985.90 | RM1,000 − RM14.10 = RM985.90 |
Minimum transaction fee and rounding
A minimum transaction fee of RM0.01 applies to every transaction. Example: a RM0.30 DuitNow QR payment at 0.60% would cost RM0.0018, so a fee of RM0.01 is charged.
Rounding adjustment is applied to all transactions.
When you get paid
Card payments and DuitNow QR payments are both settled on a T+1 working day basis, excluding weekends and public holidays. Funds arrive in your bank account on the next working day after the transaction day.
Card payouts (Visa / Mastercard)
Settlement period: T+1 working day. Example: card transactions taken on Monday (and settled on your card terminal on Monday night, if your terminal needs an end-of-day settlement) are paid out on Tuesday.
If your card payments are processed by BSN, BSN pays you directly and emails a settlement report to your registered email address every working day (Monday to Friday).
DuitNow QR payouts
Settlement period: T+1 working day. Payouts are made on the next working day.
Both schedules follow this table:
Transaction day | Payout day (funds arrive in your bank account) |
Monday | Tuesday |
Tuesday | Wednesday |
Wednesday | Thursday |
Thursday | Friday |
Friday | Following Monday |
Saturday | Following Monday |
Sunday | Following Monday |
Public holidays and the daily cut-off
The payout cycle follows Malaysian public holidays. Example: a transaction made on Saturday when the following Monday is a public holiday is paid out on Tuesday.
The daily cut-off is 23:59. If your business runs past midnight, transactions made after 23:59 count as the next day. Example: if you run a bar until 2am, Monday's transactions up to 23:59 are paid out on Tuesday, and transactions made from 00:00 to 02:00 on Tuesday morning are paid out on Wednesday.
Other payment methods, such as Atome or DuitNow for online payments (Pay by Link, invoices, QashierEats), may follow a different schedule. Check your Payout Report or contact support.

If something goes wrong
Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
Payout is smaller than my sales | MDR has been deducted, or part of your balance is still under the RM100 minimum and has rolled over | Open Payout Report and compare the fee column with Payment methods rate details |
No payout on the expected day | Weekend or public holiday, transactions after the 23:59 cut-off, or balance under RM100 | Check the table above; the funds are paid on the next working day or once your balance passes RM100 |
QashierHQ shows "Payout on hold pending information approval" or "Bank account pending compliance verification" | You recently changed your payout bank account and it is still being verified | Wait 1–3 working days; see [MY] How to Change Your Payout Bank Account |
QashierHQ shows "Your payouts is pending internal processing" | Your payouts are being reviewed | Contact support if you do not receive a payout by the end of the day |
If your payout is still missing after the next working day, contact support: Contact Qashier Support by Phone, WhatsApp, LINE or Viber (SG, MY, TH, PH).
