1. How long does Beam approval take?
Full KYC verification takes about 3 to 4 working days. Once Beam approves your application, Qashier activates the Beam QR methods for your store.
2. How do I refund a Beam QR payment?
Refunds cannot be made in Beam Lighthouse for any Beam QR method. Refund your customer yourself, for example in cash or by bank transfer.

The processing fee (MDR) charged on the original payment is not returned when you void or refund. PromptPay QR payments through Beam currently carry no MDR under the 2026 pricing (a fee may apply subject to Bank of Thailand regulation), so this affects e-wallet payments only.
3. Is there a fee for settlement and payouts?
No. Beam settles your transactions automatically every day. There is no fee for the daily automatic settlement, and there is no manual settlement option.
4. When do I receive my payout?
The daily cut-off is 23:59 (Thailand time). Transactions after the cut-off count towards the next day.

5. Are payouts affected by weekends and public holidays?
Yes. Transactions made on a weekend or a public holiday are processed on the next working day, and a public holiday in between pushes the payout day back by one working day.
6. Which country's public holidays count?
Only Thai public holidays affect Beam payouts. Chinese public holidays do not affect Alipay or WeChat Pay payouts through Beam.
7. Can I change my bank account?
Yes. Change your bank account details yourself in Beam Lighthouse at any time. Beam does not ask you to repeat KYC. The account holder's name must match your own name (individual merchant) or your company's name (corporate merchant). Approval of the new bank account takes about 3 working days after you submit it in Beam Lighthouse.
8. Are there conditions for PromptPay?
PromptPay payments through Beam can only be paid out to a Thai bank account.
9. What does my customer see on the payment slip?
After your customer scans and pays, their payment slip shows the recipient as Beam (บีม), in Thai or English depending on their app, with your store name underneath.
