How to Create, Edit or Remove Predefined Packages in QashierHQ

Save your predefined packages for selection on the POS terminal.

Predefined packages are fixed-price package presets (for example, 6 sessions for 100) saved on a product in QashierHQ, so staff can sell them from Qashier POS in one tap without keying in the quantity and price each time. You can save up to 20 presets per product.

Before you start

  • Packages are part of the Qashier Loyalty add-on. Activate it for your store in Qashier Marketplace (bottom of the left sidebar) or under Manage My Plan first, otherwise the Edit Predefined Package button will not appear.   • Packages must be tagged to a product. Create the product first if it does not exist yet.

  • The button is not available for products in a category that is set to display with size and colour.

Create predefined packages on a product

  1. Go to QashierHQ.

  2. In the left sidebar, under Products & Inventory, select Product Management.

  3. Choose the store, open the tab and category (or use Search), then click the product to open Edit Product.

  4. Click Edit Predefined Package.

In the Edit Predefined Package dialog:

  1. Under Number of Predefined Packages, drag the slider to the number of packages you want to create (up to 20).

  2. For each package, fill in Item Quantity per Package and Package Price. If you set 2 packages, you fill in both fields twice.

  3. Click Confirm.

You can also add packages while creating a new product: in the Add Product dialog, click Add Predefined Package and fill in the same fields.

Here's a step-by-step video guide:

Example

Two packages for a haircut (amounts are in your store's currency):

  • Package 1: 6 sessions for 100 (Item Quantity per Package = 6, Package Price = 100)

  • Package 2: 10 sessions for 180 (Item Quantity per Package = 10, Package Price = 180)

Edit or remove predefined packages

  1. Open the product in Edit Product. The button now shows the current count, for example Edit Predefined Package (2).

  2. Click it, then change the quantities or prices, or drag the slider to a new number of packages.

  3. To remove all presets from the product, drag the slider to 0.

  4. Click Confirm.

What you should see

  • In QashierHQ, the button reads Edit Predefined Package followed by the number of presets.

  • Go back to the main screen on your POS terminal so it picks up the change. On Qashier POS, open the product from POS & Payment and tap the package icon at the top left: the presets appear under PREDEFINED PACKAGE, named as the product and quantity (for example, Haircut x 6), below CUSTOMIZED PACKAGE.

  • Packages are not offered when the POS is in kiosk mode.

If something goes wrong

The Edit Predefined Package button is missing

Packages are not activated for the selected store, or the product's category displays with size and colour

Check the store selected at the top of Product Management, activate Qashier Loyalty for that store in Qashier Marketplace, and check the category's display setting

The POS does not show the new presets

The terminal has not refreshed

Return to the POS main screen, then open the product again

The package icon is missing on the POS

Packages are not activated for the store, or the terminal is in kiosk mode

Activate Qashier Loyalty for the store; use a terminal that is not in kiosk mode
