Sell a package (for example, 10 haircut sessions for one price) from the Qashier POS, either by picking a predefined package set up in QashierHQ or by building a customised package on the spot. The package is saved to the customer's record so they can redeem sessions later.

Before you start
Packages must be activated for your store (Qashier Loyalty add-on). If they are, a package icon appears at the top left of the product sheet. See How to Add Features and Manage Your Plan in Qashier Marketplace (QashierHQ).
To sell a predefined package, create it on the product in QashierHQ first. See How to Create, Edit or Remove Predefined Packages in QashierHQ.
The customer must exist, or be created, before payment. You cannot skip the customer step for a package sale.
Packages are not available when the POS is in kiosk mode.
Open the package screen
Go to POS & Payment.
Select a category, then the product.
Tap the package icon at the top left of the product sheet.
Option A: sell a predefined package
Under PREDEFINED PACKAGE, tap the package you are selling. Each one is listed as the product and quantity with its price (for example, Haircut x 10).
Quantity, Package Name (Auto Filled) and Package Price fill in automatically.
Tap Add & Close to add the package to the cart.

Option B: sell a customised package
Under CUSTOMIZED PACKAGE, tap the item.
Set the number of sessions in the package with the + and - buttons.
Check Package Price. By default it is the product price multiplied by the quantity. Change it if you are offering a different package price.
Tap Add & Close to add the package to the cart.

Attach the customer and take payment
Tap the orange Customer bar above the order list.
Search for the customer by phone number or name, then tap Search.
Tap the customer, then tap Confirm. The customer's name now shows in the Customer bar.
Tap Pay.
Select the payment method, then tap Confirm to complete the sale.
What you should see
The package appears in the customer's Package List with its quota (sessions left) and purchase date, and it is printed on the receipt.

Good to know
If you tap Pay without a customer, the POS shows "Unable to skip when purchasing credits/package/member price items" with a Select Customer button. Select or create the customer, then pay.
Sell packages as a separate order from regular items. If the POS shows Add as a separate order ("Package and regular items must be sold separately"), tap Back to remove the other items or Proceed to Payment to pay for the package on its own.
Packages cannot be charged to a table, cannot receive a bill-level discount, and cannot be held or booked.
If something goes wrong
Symptom | Cause | Fix |
No package icon on the product sheet | Packages are not activated for this store, or the terminal is in kiosk mode | Activate Qashier Loyalty for the store in QashierHQ; use a terminal that is not in kiosk mode |
No PREDEFINED PACKAGE section | No predefined packages are set up on this product | Create them in QashierHQ, then return to the POS main screen so the terminal refreshes |
Cannot proceed to payment | No customer attached | Tap the Customer bar and select or create the customer |
