DuitNow QR lets customers pay by scanning a QR code with any Malaysian banking or e-wallet app. This guide covers taking a DuitNow QR payment on Qashier POS, where to see the transactions, how voids and refunds work, and when you are paid out.

Before you start
DuitNow QR must be activated for your store by Qashier after your QashierPay application is approved (see [SG/MY] How to Apply for QashierPay Payment Services in QashierHQ). You cannot switch it on yourself. If you do not see DuitNow QR on the payment page, contact Qashier Support.
Qashier's DuitNow QR is intended for use with Malaysian e-wallets and bank apps only.
The POS must be online.
How to accept a DuitNow QR payment
Ring up the sale as usual and tap Pay.
On the payment page, tap DuitNow QR. The amount is fixed to the bill total and cannot be changed.
The QR code appears on the customer-facing display (or on the QashierX1 front screen). On terminals without a customer display, such as the QashierXS or a tablet, it appears on the POS screen, so turn the screen to the customer.
The customer scans the QR code with their banking or e-wallet app. The recipient shows as QASHIERPAY SDN. BHD., which is correct.
Once the customer pays, the POS approves the transaction in real time. A receipt prints if auto-print is enabled.
Where to see DuitNow QR transactions and reports
On Qashier POS: tap Transaction Record and select the receipt. The payment method shows as DuitNow QR.
In QashierHQ: open Transactions and filter by payment method to see each DuitNow QR sale.
Breakdown by payment method: on the POS reports and in QashierHQ Full Report. For the money paid out to you, open Payout Report in QashierHQ (see [SG/MY] Understanding Your Payout Report in QashierHQ).
Voiding and refunding a DuitNow QR sale
You can void a DuitNow QR sale from Qashier POS (Transaction Record > select the sale > Void / Refund) or from QashierHQ (Transactions > Void Transaction).
Voiding only cancels the sales record. Qashier does not return the money to the customer. The DuitNow QR payment has already been received and will be included in your next payout, so refund the customer yourself by cash or another method.
On the POS, a pop-up reminds you: "Please refund RM <amount>" – "Transaction is marked as voided." – "Manual refund is required as this payment method doesn't support automatic refunds." Tap Refund Completed once you have refunded the customer.
QashierHQ shows no reminder; it only asks you to confirm the void. Remember to refund the customer yourself.

When you are paid out
DuitNow QR sales are processed and paid out within T+1 working day. Payouts are made on working days only, so sales on weekends and public holidays are paid on the next working day. If a payout has not arrived, Contact Qashier Support by Phone, WhatsApp, LINE or Viber (SG, MY, TH, PH).
