How to Add or Remove Modifiers on a GrabFood Product in QashierHQ

Attach modifier sets (add-ons such as sugar level or extra toppings) to a product on your GrabFood menu, or remove them, from the GrabFood page in QashierHQ.

Applies to: Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand · QashierHQ · stores with the GrabFood integration activated.

Before you start

  • The GrabFood integration must be activated for the store. If the GrabFood page shows an offer to add GrabFood instead of your menu, the integration is not active yet: use the button on that page or contact Qashier support.

  • Create your GrabFood modifier sets first (see the next section). GrabFood modifiers are managed on the GrabFood page, not in Product Management.

Open the GrabFood page

  1. Log in to QashierHQ.

  2. In the sidebar, under Sales Channels, click GrabFood.

  3. Choose your store in the store picker at the top of the page.

Create a GrabFood modifier set

  1. Click Edit Modifier.

  2. Next to Modifier Sets, click Add. In the Create Modifier Set window, enter a Modifier Set Name and click Confirm.

  3. Select the set, click Create Modifier, enter the Modifier Name and confirm. Repeat for each choice in the set.

  4. Close the window when you are done.

Add modifiers to a product

  1. Click the category tab, then click the product. The Edit Product window opens.

  2. Click Modifiers (0).

  3. In the Modifiers window, click a modifier set name to select every modifier in it, or click individual modifiers. A set marked Choose at least followed by a number needs at least that many modifiers selected.

  4. Click Confirm. The button now reads Modifiers (n), where n is the number of modifiers assigned to the product.

  5. Click Save. If a Confirm prompt says you have not selected a printer or KDS, click OK to continue, or Cancel to choose a Printer Index or KDS Index first.

A GrabFood product can have up to 30 modifier sets, with up to 60 modifiers in each set.

Remove modifiers from a product

  1. Click the category tab, then click the product you want to remove modifiers from.

  2. Click Modifiers (n).

  3. Click a modifier set name to deselect every modifier in it, or click individual modifiers to deselect them.

  4. Click Confirm. The number on the button goes down and shows Modifiers (0) when none are left.

  5. Click Save to save the change. If prompted about a printer or KDS, click OK.

When you close the Edit Product window, QashierHQ sends the menu to GrabFood. Refresh the page (Ctrl+R on Windows, Cmd+R on Mac) and check that Last Synced at the top of the page shows the current date and time. The modifiers then appear under the product on GrabFood.

More than 30 modifier sets are assigned to the product.

Remove some sets before saving.

Exceed limit of selected modifiers per set of 60

A set has more than 60 modifiers selected.

Select fewer modifiers in that set.

Last Synced does not update

The change has not reached GrabFood yet.

Wait a few minutes and refresh. If it still does not update, contact support.
