Introduction to Low Stock Alert
Get notified via different ways when your product stock quantity falls below the low stock threshold or out of stock.
There are 3 ways to get notification from Qashier:-
via POS notification
via QashierHQ
via Email notification
Feature 1: POS Notification
Before getting this notification, you must enable "Track Inventory" feature on to your product(s) to be notified

Once done setting up, you will get the notification directly from POS terminal as shown in video below:
NOTE: You will only get this notification when you want to place an order for a product's inventory count is zero
Feature 2: Inventory Management at QashierHQ
Before getting this notification, you must set "Set Alert Threshold" number on to your product(s)

At QashierHQ Product Management > Inventory Management, you can see that the items that falls below threshold amount you have set (indicated blue box at the image below), the product row will be highlighted in red.
If you have a lot of products tracked by inventory and want to quickly filter out and show only those products which falls below low stock threshold value, simple enable "SHOW LOW STOCK ITEMS" filter by following the steps below:
Go to QashierHQ
Click on the drop-down icon under Product Management
Select Inventory Management
Enable SHOW LOW STOCK ITEMS

Feature 3: Email Notification
Before getting this notification, you must first set "Set Alert Threshold" feature on to your product(s), then enable "LOW STOCK ALERT" feature on to your product(s) to be notified via email every time a product's inventory level count falls below a threshold
If you have not do so, you can refer here to set "Set Alert Threshold" first, once done, only proceed to the following steps:
Go to QashierHQ
Click on the drop-down icon under Product Management
Select Inventory Management
Enable LOW STOCK ALERT

There are two conditions that you will receive email notification for low stock alert:
1. When the in-stock amount is higher than the low stock threshold amount and 1 or more item is deducted, causing it to hit the low stock threshold amount
Example:
Current stock amount | Low Stock Threshold set | Stock amount after transaction was made | To receive email notification? |
6 | 5 | 5 (only 1 item was sold in this transaction) | YES |
100 | 99 | 97 (3 items was sold in this transaction) | YES |
7 | 5 | 6 (only 1 item was sold in this transaction) | NO |
2. When the in-stock amount is the same as the low stock threshold amount and 1 or more item is deducted, causing it to fall below the low stock threshold amount
