Introduction to Service Hour
The Service Hour feature allows your product to be available for customer to place order for a certain time period only. This feature is only compatible with Static or Dynamic QR ordering with Table Management feature.
This feature will be useful if your product availability is tied to particular time slot. With the POS system automatically adjusting the availability of your product based on the set time period, you are spared the manual effort of toggling its availability for ordering.
For instance, let's say you offer breakfast meals that are available daily from 6 am to 11 am. During this designated time period, customers can place orders using QR ordering. However, if a customer attempts to order a breakfast meal at 3 pm, they will not have the option to do so.
How does the service hour feature reflects on QR ordering menu
In the POS system, all products under Service Hour category are available as shown in the image below:
In this example:
Breakfast menu items will be available for order from 8am - 12pm (highlighted in orange box)
Lunch menu items will be available for order from 12pm - 3pm (highlighted in green box)
Other than the two service hours mentioned above, those menu items will NOT be available in QR ordering menu.

As you can see, the time shows 2:41 pm, which falls under service hour for Lunch Menu items. In QR ordering menu, you only can order lunch menu items.
In this case, you are unable to order Breakfast Menu items or other service hour menus (if there are one)

As you can see, the time shows 9:54 am, which falls under service hour for Breakfast Menu items. In QR ordering menu, you only can order breakfast menu items.
In this case, you are unable to order Lunch Menu items or other service hour menus (if there are one)
