Move an open table's order to another table, combine the bills of two occupied tables, move a single item to another table, or change the number of pax, in Table Management on Qashier POS.
Applies to: All markets · Qashier POS · stores with Table Management turned on · Terminal PIN to combine tables, if one is set.
Before you start: the table must already have an open order (see How to Use Table Management in Qashier POS: Set Up Tables, Take Orders and Collect Payment). Under the table name you see two buttons: the pax button (for example, "2 pax") and Change Table. On older app versions, tap the table name at the top (for example, Table 1) and then choose Change Table or Change Pax instead.
Change a table
Use this when customers move to another table. Their whole order moves with them.
Go to POS & Payment and tap the table you want to move.
Tap Change Table under the table name.
Tap the drop-down list to see all tables.
Select an empty table.
Tap OK. The order now shows under the new table.

Combine tables
Use this to put the bills of two occupied tables together. Combining cannot be undone.
Go to POS & Payment and tap either of the occupied tables.
Tap Change Table under the table name.
Tap the drop-down list and select the other occupied table.
Tap OK.
The Combine Bill to Existing Table warning appears ("This cannot be undone"). Tap Yes.
If your POS has a Terminal PIN, enter it to confirm.
The two bills are now one bill under the table you selected.
Move one item to another table
Tap the table, then tap the item you want to move.
In the Please select pop-up, tap Change Table.
Select the table from the drop-down list and tap OK. If that table is already occupied, the Combine Bill to Existing Table warning appears: tap Yes, and enter the Terminal PIN if your POS has one. The item is added to that table's bill.
This option is not available for items ordered through Dynamic QR.
Change the number of pax
Go to POS & Payment and tap the table.
Tap the pax button under the table name (for example, "2 pax"). The Change Pax window opens.
Enter the new number of pax (1 to 99).
Tap OK.
Philippines: in stores set up to charge VAT, the window also asks for the number of senior citizens, persons with disability and other special-discount guests (see [Philippines] BIR Special Discounts (SC/PWD/NAAC/SP/MOV), Receipts & Audit Reports).

Good to know
Changing a table moves every item on the table, including items already paid online.
A table opened with a menu tier (buffet or tiered menu) cannot be changed or combined (see How to Set Up a Buffet / Tiered Menu (Menu Tier) for Dynamic QR Ordering).
If you use a kitchen printer or kitchen display, the kitchen is told about the move: a Change Table order chit, or a Table Moved notice on the KDS.
