Void a single item or a whole unpaid table from Table Management in Qashier POS, and find past voids in the Void List.
Applies to: All markets · Qashier POS · stores with the Table Management add-on · a staff PIN (the POS records which staff member voided the item or table).
Before you start
Table Management must be turned on for your store. See How to Use Table Management in Qashier POS: Set Up Tables, Take Orders and Collect Payment.
Staff need their own staff PIN. See How to Add, Edit or Delete Staff in QashierHQ.
You can only void items that have not been paid yet. Once a bill has been paid, void the whole transaction from the transaction record instead. See How to Void or Refund a Transaction in Qashier POS.
Kitchen chits: voiding a single item sends a void chit to the kitchen. Voiding a whole table does not print void chits. If the kitchen needs chits, void the items one by one.
Void an item from a table
Use this to remove specific items from a table that has not been paid yet.
Go to POS & Payment and tap the table.
Tap the item you want to void.
Tap Void.
Enter your staff PIN.
In the Void Note window, type the reason for voiding and tap Confirm.
In the Confirm voiding window, enter the quantity to void and tap Yes. For example, if the table has 3 Coke and you are voiding only 1, enter 1.
If the item tracks inventory, you are asked Inventory Update: "Would you like to add back the inventory of the voided items?" Tap Yes to return the stock, or No to leave stock as it is.

Void a whole table
Use this to remove all orders and items from a table before payment is made.
Go to POS & Payment and tap the table.
Tap Void (bin icon) in the row of buttons under the table name.
A warning tells you that no void chits will be printed for the items. Tap Confirm to continue.
Enter your staff PIN.
In the Void Note window, type the reason for voiding and tap Confirm. The message "Table bill voided" appears.
If your store uses inventory management, you are asked Inventory Update. Tap Yes to add the voided items back to inventory, or No to leave stock as it is.
Tap OK. The table is now empty.

Tables with items already paid online: if some items on the table were already paid online (for example, through Treats), you can't void those items from the table. Voiding the table removes only the unpaid items. To void paid items, void the whole transaction in the transaction record.
Find voided items and tables (Void List)
Go to POS & Payment.
Tap Void List at the top left, next to the table-view icon.
You see a list of the items and tables that have been voided.
