You can print your own text at the top of every receipt (the Receipt Header) and at the bottom (the Receipt Footer), for example your address and phone number at the top and a thank-you note or return policy at the bottom. This article shows how to change them on Qashier POS.

Access: the Terminal PIN, if one is set, to open Settings.
Before you start
Have your Terminal PIN ready. If you don't know it, see How to View or Change Your Terminal PIN in QashierHQ.
The header and footer are saved to your store, not only to this terminal. They are the same setting as Receipt Header and Receipt Tail in QashierHQ, so the last change you save in either place is the one that prints. Change the receipt header and footer
On the Qashier POS home screen, tap the menu icon (☰).
Tap Settings.
Enter your Terminal PIN.
Tap POS Settings.
Under Receipt Header, type the text to print at the top of the receipt. Press Enter to start a new line.
Under Receipt Footer, type the text to print at the bottom of the receipt.
Tap Save. You see "Store settings saved".

The same POS Settings screen also has the POS language, Enable E-Receipt, Enable Auto Print Receipt and pager options. Save saves everything on the screen, so check those settings before you tap it. See How to Configure POS Settings on Qashier POS (Language, Receipts, Pager).
What to put in the header and footer
Receipt Header: your business address, phone number or website.
Receipt Footer: a thank-you note, your terms and conditions, return or warranty information, or your social media links.
Tips:
Don't type an underscore ( _ ). The receipt prints it as a line break.
Each box on the POS takes up to 520 characters. QashierHQ allows up to 200 characters for the header and 1,000 for the footer, so keep the header to 200 characters if you also edit it in QashierHQ.

What you should see
The next receipt you print shows your header text under the store name, and your footer text at the bottom.

If something goes wrong
Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
"Error, Please try again." after you tap Save | The terminal could not save the change, often because it is offline | Check the terminal's internet connection and tap Save again. |
You can't type any more in a box | The box is full (520 characters) | Shorten the text. |
A line break appears where you didn't expect one | The text contains an underscore ( _ ) | Remove the underscore or replace it with a hyphen, then save again. |
Another terminal in the same store still prints the old text | That terminal has not picked up the change yet | On that terminal, go back to the home screen and print again. If it still shows the old text, restart the Qashier POS app. |
The text you saved was replaced | Someone changed the header or footer in QashierHQ (or on another terminal) after you | Check the text in both places and save the version you want. |
