Steps to connect Sticker/Label Printer to a POS via USB:
Connect the sticker printer to a power source.
Install the sticker roll correctly.
Use the provided USB-to-printer cable to connect the sticker printer:
Legacy XL / XL Slim: Connect directly to the POS USB port.
X2: Connect to the dock.
In HQ, tap the gear icon at the top right → Printer Settings → Additional Printer Settings → Additional Printer. Set the Printer Type to USB.
Once completed, refresh the POS by tapping POS and Payment, then return to the main screen.
Restart the sticker printer and run a few test transactions to confirm that it is working properly.
Important:
If you have a kitchen printer as well, please assign the sticker printer as Printer 1.
Only one printer can be connected via USB at a time. Any additional printers should be connected via Wi-Fi or LAN.
How to Assign the Sticker Printer as Printer 1
Log in to HQ → click the gear icon at the top right.
Go to Printer Settings → Additional Printer Settings.
Set Printer 1 to USB.
Click Add Printer for the kitchen printer and set the Printer Type to Wi-Fi or LAN.
How to Assign Product Tabs
Log in to HQ → click the gear icon at the top right.
Go to Printer Settings → Receipt/Order Chit Settings.
Click the Additional Printer dropdown → select the required tabs → click Save.
Refresh the POS and restart the printer before testing.
Recommended Testing Method
From the POS main screen, tap the three-line menu → Manage Products.
Select a category, then select an item.
Enter barcodes 1–8, then tap the blue Print Barcode button.
Set the quantity to 1 → tap Confirm.
The sticker printer should print the barcode.
Once confirmed, return to the home screen and process a test transaction to ensure the printer is working properly.
What is the size of the sticker rolls?
2 dimensions:
40mm x 30mm (smaller, recommended for bubble-tea sticker printing)
60mm x 40mm (larger, recommended for barcode sticker printing)
Note: Thermal sticker rolls can be purchased online or at any stationery store.
