[SG/MY] How Customers Pay with QashierPay on Your WooCommerce Store

This guide explains how your customers can complete their purchases using Qashier Pay on your WooCommerce store. Share this article with your customers so they know what to expect during checkout.

When a shopper checks out on your WooCommerce store, they can pay with QashierPay. This article shows what your customer sees at checkout, where you find the payment in QashierHQ, and what to do if a payment fails.

Applies to: Singapore and Malaysia · QashierHQ and the QashierPay WooCommerce plugin · merchants with an approved QashierPay online payment account.

Before you start

  • Activate the online payment methods you want to offer. In QashierHQ, go to Sales Channels > Online Payment > Payment methods and click Activate next to each method. This takes you to Payment Management to apply for it. Only methods with the status Active appear on the payment page.

What your customer sees at checkout

Step 1: Go to checkout. Your customer adds products to the cart and opens the Checkout page.

Step 2: Choose QashierPay.

  • In the payment method section, your customer selects the Qashier payment option (the gateway you enabled under WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Qashier).

  • They click the pay button to continue.

Step 3: Qashier payment page. Your customer is redirected to Qashier's secure hosted payment page, which shows:

  • Order summary – the total amount to pay

  • Payment options – the methods you activated in QashierHQ

Step 4: Enter payment details.

  • Choose a payment method: Debit / Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard) and, depending on your market and what you have activated, PayNow, GrabPay or WeChat Pay (Singapore) or DuitNow (Malaysia).

  • For a card payment, enter the card number, cardholder name, expiry date (month/year) and CVV.

Step 5: Complete payment.

  • Click Continue to Payment.

  • Card payments may need 3-D Secure verification: entering an OTP or password, or approving the payment in the banking app.

  • Once verified, Qashier processes the payment.

Step 6: Confirmation.

  • Your customer sees a payment confirmation page (styled by your WooCommerce theme).

  • The WooCommerce order status updates to Processing (or Completed for virtual or downloadable products), depending on your WooCommerce settings.

For merchants: where to find the payment

  1. Sign in to QashierHQ.

  2. Go to Money & Finance > Transactions. If your account uses the new transaction flow, you may also see Transaction V2 (Beta).

  3. Open the transaction to see the date, receipt number, total amount, payment method, the last 4 digits of the card (card payments) and any transaction notes.

Refunds

Full and partial refunds sync back to your WooCommerce orders. To refund a payment, open it in Money & Finance > Transactions and click Void Transaction. If QashierHQ asks for a Refund Amount, you can refund the full amount or part of it. For some payment methods, QashierHQ opens a chat with support instead so the team can process the refund for you.
