A menu tier (called Buffet / Tiered Menu in QashierHQ) is a price tier that drives its own QR menu. When your staff open a table on Qashier POS, they choose the menu tier and a quantity (for example, 2 × Premium Buffet). The Dynamic QR printed for that table then shows customers only the products you priced in that tier. Use it for buffets, set menus or any package where different tables should see different menus at different prices.

Before you start
Price Tiers is switched on for your store. You will see a Price Tier button at the top of Product Management in QashierHQ. If you do not, check Qashier Marketplace or contact Qashier Support.

Buffet / Tiered Menu is switched on for your POS. There is no setting for this in QashierHQ, so contact Qashier Support to enable it before you begin.

Step 1: Create the menu tier in QashierHQ
Log in to QashierHQ. In the left menu, under Products & Inventory, click Product Management. If you have more than one store, choose the store in the Store picker.
Click Price Tier at the top right of the page. The Manage Price Tier window opens.
Click Create Price Tier.
Enter a Price Tier Name, for example "Premium Buffet". Names must be unique and up to 50 characters.
Tick Buffet / Tiered Menu. A Price (Optional) field appears. Leave it blank unless your package has a fixed charge per set.
Click Confirm.
The new tier appears in Manage Price Tier with a MENU tag. Make sure its toggle is switched on, or the POS will not load it. You can have up to 20 price tiers per store, and menu tiers count towards that limit.
Step 2: Put products on the menu tier
In Product Management, click the tab, then the category, then the product. The Edit Product dialog opens.
Click the Price Tier button (it shows the number of tiers already priced for this product, for example Price Tier (0)).
Find the row for your menu tier. It shows - Disabled - until you set a price.
Click the price value, type the price for this tier and click Set. Or use the dropdown arrow beside the row: Set to 0 (the item is included in the package at no extra charge), Set to the normal price, or Disable (the item is not shown in this tier). Prices are shown in your store currency.
Close the Price Tier window. The button now reads Price Tier (1). Click Confirm on Edit Product if you changed any other product details.
Repeat for every product that belongs on the menu. Only products with a price on the tier appear on that tier's QR menu.
Step 3: Open a table with the menu tier on Qashier POS
On the POS, open Table Management and tap an empty table.
The Menu Tier pop-up opens. Tap the tier you want, then use the + and − buttons to set the quantity (for example, the number of buffet sets). If you set only one of the two, the POS shows "Please add menu tier/quantity before confirming." To open an ordinary table without a menu tier, leave the tier unselected and the quantity at 0.
Tap Confirm. If your POS asks for the number of pax or a table timer, enter it as usual.
A pop-up shows the table's QR code with the menu tier name. Tap Print. Customers who scan the printed QR see only the products priced in that menu tier.

What you should see
In QashierHQ, the tier shows a MENU tag in Manage Price Tier, and each priced product shows Price Tier (1) or higher.
On the POS, tapping an empty table opens the Menu Tier pop-up before the table opens.
On the customer's phone, the QR menu lists only the products priced in that tier, at the tier prices.
If something goes wrong
Symptom | Cause | Fix |

To change the number of sets on an open table, open the table and tap the menu tier button on the order screen (it shows the tier's name). Change the quantity with + and − and tap Confirm. The tier itself cannot be changed once the table is open.
