Summary: This guide shows how to install the Qashier POS app on a Sunmi T2, T2s or T2s Lite that you already own, log in and choose your store.

❗️ This guide is only for your own Sunmi device. Qashier-supplied terminals (QashierX2, QashierXS, QashierXL Slim) come with Qashier POS pre-installed, and Qashier-issued payment terminals block app sideloading. See Why Can't I Install Third-Party Apps on My Qashier Payment Terminal?

❗️ Important:
On the T2s and T2s Lite, the customer-facing screen is display-only. It shows the order and total to customers but is not touch-enabled.
If the Sunmi device was purchased from a previous POS vendor, the hardware may be locked, preventing the Qashier POS app from being downloaded. In such cases, you will need to purchase Qashier hardware to use our POS system.
Before you start
A Sunmi T2, T2s or T2s Lite.
A secure and stable WiFi network.
A Google account (used only to install Google Chrome).
Your Qashier login email and password, the same ones you use for QashierHQ.
Setting up your Sunmi POS to use the Qashier POS app
Step 1: On the POS, swipe left and open the Play Store app.

Step 2: In the Google Play Store app, log in to your Google account.

Step 3: Search for the "Google Chrome" app and select "Install".
Search for the Google Chrome app and select "Install"
Step 4: Sign out of your Google account once Google Chrome is installed. Open the device's Settings, go to your accounts, select your Google account and remove it.
❗️ Important: If you stay signed in, Google Play may install or update a different build of the app, and Qashier POS may not receive Qashier's updates.
💡 Tip: If you are unable to sign out of your Google account, open Google Chrome as normal. If there is a prompt to continue using Google Chrome without an account, select that option.
If you cannot sign out of your Google account, select "Use without an account" when you launch Google Chrome
Step 5: Open Google Chrome and enter qashier.com/stubdl in the address bar. The file QashierStub.apk downloads immediately. Open it to install the Qashier POS app.

💡 Tip: You can also find the downloaded file by tapping the three dots at the top right of Google Chrome, then "Downloads".

Tap "QashierStub.apk" to start the installation
Once the download has completed, the installation will begin automatically.
💡 Tip: If a message says "For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source.", select "Settings" and toggle on "Allow from this source" so the installation can continue.

After Qashier POS is installed, you can turn "Allow from this source" off again for Google Chrome. Keep the permission on for the Qashier POS app itself: it needs it to install its own updates.
Step 6: Once the installation is complete, select Login.

If the app updates itself and shows the welcome screen again, select Login again.

Step 7: Log in with your QashierHQ email address and password. If two-step verification is turned on, enter the code from your authenticator app. For details, see How to Log in to Qashier POS.
Step 8: On the App Permission Settings screen, turn on Allow running app in background, Allow storing images and Allow app notifications, then tap Done. Allow any Android prompts that follow.

Step 9: If you have more than one store, select the correct store for this device.

What you should see: The Qashier POS home screen for your store. You can now begin using the Qashier POS app on your Sunmi device.

Cash drawer: contact our support team to set up a cash drawer with your Sunmi device.
Card and QR payments: The Sunmi T2, T2s and T2s Lite have no card reader. Contact our support team to add a QashierPay terminal to your setup.
