[MY] How to order Qashier Soundbox

Qashier Soundbox is a compact QR-payment device that plays an audio confirmation every time a customer pays you by DuitNow QR. This guide shows Malaysian merchants how to order a Soundbox in QashierHQ and apply for DuitNow QR so the device is ready to use when it arrives.

Which path applies to you

  • New merchant without a Qashier account: follow Path A. You create your account online and order the Soundbox from the Terminals page.

  • Existing merchant who sees Qashier Soundbox in the QashierHQ sidebar: follow Path B. This menu appears for accounts on the QashierPay Soundbox plan.

  • Bought your Soundbox through the Qashier sales team: follow Path C to activate it with your referral code.

  • Not sure, or you do not see the menu? Contact Qashier Support.

Before you start

  • A business registered in Malaysia and your company registration document (SSM).

  • A copy or screenshot of your company bank statement (needed for the DuitNow QR application).

  • Wi-Fi or a 4G SIM card at your store for the Soundbox. See How to connect Qashier Soundbox to WiFi or 4G (SIM card).

Path A: New merchant – sign up and order online

  1. Go to hq.qashier.com/startup. Under Open an account, choose your Business sector, fill in your Registered business name and, under Where are you located?, choose Malaysia. In the Create your account section that appears, enter Your name and Mobile number, request the one-time code, enter the 6-digit code and click Continue. Then follow the prompts to add your email address.

  2. Log in to QashierHQ and go to hq.qashier.com/onboarding/terminals (Pick your terminal).

  3. On the Qashier SoundBox card, click Add. Add one Soundbox per store or counter. The price (MYR) is shown on the card.

  4. Click View cart, enter a coupon code and click Apply if you have one, then click Checkout.

  5. Check the Shipping address (Recipient name, Mobile, Address), fill in Store name to be displayed on terminal exactly as you want customers to see it, then click Place order and complete the payment. You should see Order confirmed.

  6. Go to hq.qashier.com/onboarding/overview, open Verify your business and, under Upload manually, upload your Business Incorporation Document and the director's ID or passport (front and back), then click Submit for review. Review usually takes 1–3 business days. Your Soundbox is shipped after your business is verified.

Path B: Order from the Qashier Soundbox page in QashierHQ

  1. Log in to QashierHQ and click Qashier Soundbox in the left sidebar.

  2. Click Order Now.

  3. Under Choose your promo:, decide which Soundbox option you want (with a 12-month data SIM card, or Wi-Fi only). The price and promo code for each option are shown on the page; note the promo code for your option. Click Order Now.

  4. In the Complete Soundbox information to proceed dialog, set Number of Soundbox to setup to match the number of Soundboxes you need, then fill in each Soundbox Name, Soundbox Address and Postal Code. Click Continue.

  5. On the checkout page, enter the promo code shown for your option, check that the delivery address is correct, and complete the payment.

  6. Back on the Qashier Soundbox page, under Enable DuitNow for Soundbox, click Setup Now.

  7. Fill in the DuitNow QR for Soundbox application form: your business details, Store Information for each Soundbox, and the Custom Display Name. Upload a copy of your company bank statement. The Company Registered Document (SSM) upload is optional. Click Submit.

Caution: the Custom Display Name can have at most 20 alphanumeric characters, including spaces. Check it carefully before you submit. Note: if you ordered more than one Soundbox, complete the application for all of them in one go. If you leave the page part-way, you will need to fill in the remaining stores when you return.

Path C: Bought through the sales team

  1. Log in to QashierHQ and click Qashier Soundbox in the left sidebar.

  2. Click Already purchased Soundbox? Setup Now.

  3. In the Referral Code dialog, enter the referral code given to you by the sales team and click Continue.

  4. Complete the DuitNow QR for Soundbox application form as in Path B, step 7.

What you should see

  • Path A: the Order confirmed page lists What happens next (Order placed & paid, We verify your business, We confirm your delivery details). You also receive an email confirmation.

  • Path B and C: the Qashier Soundbox page shows your order (Order successfully placed on a date), the DuitNow application status (Processing... then Approved) and the delivery status (Ready To Deliver, Delivery In Progress, Delivered).

  • When the Soundbox arrives, connect it to the internet and check its display name, serial number and announcement language in QashierHQ. See [SG/MY] How to Configure Your Qashier Soundbox (Display Name, Serial Number, Language).

Pricing and fees

  • The Soundbox price and any promo options are shown on the Qashier Soundbox page or on the Pick your terminal page and at checkout.

  • The DuitNow QR transaction fee for Soundbox is shown in the application form before you submit it.

If something goes wrong

Your account is not on the QashierPay Soundbox plan, or you do not have payment management access

Use Path A if you are a new merchant, otherwise contact support

The Terminals page says Terminal ordering isn't available in your region yet

Your business address could not be matched to Malaysia

Check the country in your business profile, or contact support

Application shows Processing... for a long time

Bank statement or business details still being checked

Wait for the status to change; if it stays for more than a few working days, contact support

Need to change the display name after submitting

The name was set in the application form
