Answer

Do the points that customers earn have an expiration date?

No, there is no expiry to the points that the customers have earned.

Can the merchant set an expiry date for the points that the customers earned? E.g. One year from the date that the points were earned.

No, this feature is unavailable at the moment. Our team is working towards introducing this feature in our future launches.

If the merchants have multiple individual stores or stores under Chain Shop Management, can they use the Treats feature?

Yes, it is possible. We would recommend it if all stores are under the same client account.

For franchisee stores, at the moment they will not be able to use the Treats feature.

Can the customer choose how many points they wish to redeem for a transaction? If yes, what is the minimum number of points that they can redeem for a transaction?

Yes, customers have the flexibility to choose the number of points that they wish to redeem for a transaction.

By default, 100 points is equivalent to $1.00. The minimum number of points that the customer can redeem for a transaction would be 1 point ($0.01).

In what situation would the customer be required to re-login to their mobile device again?

If the customer clears the cache on their mobile device, they will need to re-login.

If the web browser on their mobile device crashes and the customer force-closes the app, they do not need to re-login.

  • However, if the customer force-closes the web browser when experiencing a slow login, they might have to re-login.

The login process is the same as when a customer signs up for the first time - they need to input their mobile number to receive an OTP to be entered on the web app.

Merchant has recently upgraded from the previous version of Loyalty Points System to Treats. What would happen to his existing customers' information (e.g. points + transaction history, etc.)?

The existing customers' information would remain, but not automatically migrated to Treats.

In order to migrate the existing customers' information to Treats, the customers would have to scan the Treats QR code to create a Treats web app profile when they make their payment at the store.

After their Treats profile has been created, all existing and new information (including points and transaction history) will be migrated successfully to Treats web app.

Are there any limits to the number of cards that can be linked to a Treats' profile?

There is no limit to the number of cards that can be linked to a Treats profile. If the customer would like to link more cards, repeat steps 1 to 3 stated here.

If the merchant needs to void a transaction on the QashierPay terminal, will the points be returned to the customer?

Yes, the points will be fully returned to the customer when the transaction is voided successfully.

If a customer forgets to scan the QR code at the terminal, and also loses the receipt, what can be done?

The merchant can reprint the lost receipt, allowing the consumer to scan the QR code printed on it.

The QR code will remain valid as long as it hasn't been scanned yet.
