How to Export a Sales Report (Full Report or Day Split View) from QashierHQ

Summary: Export your sales report from the Full Report page in QashierHQ as a CSV file. You can export the totals for a period or a day-by-day breakdown (Day Split View), or email the report to your store's email address instead.

Applies to: All markets · QashierHQ (web). You need a QashierHQ login that can open Full Report. Thailand stores with tax invoices turned on have extra export options (see below).

Before you start

  • Log in to QashierHQ on a computer. The steps below describe the default (modern) layout.

  • If you want to email the report, make sure your store has a Store Email in Settings > Basic Settings.

Export the Full Report

  1. In the left menu, under Money & Finance, click Full Report.

  2. Under Source, choose the store you want. To export every store in one file, turn on All Stores (shown only if you have more than one store). If your stores take online orders, you can also choose which sales to include: All, Offline, QashierEats, GrabFood or FoodPanda.

  3. Under Period, click the date range. Under Quick select, click a preset such as Last Month. The range is applied straight away. To set your own range, pick the dates and the From time and To time, then click Apply.

  4. Click Export at the top right of the page.

  5. In the Export As CSV pop-up, check the store and the date range, then click Confirm.

What you should see

The CSV file downloads to your computer. It covers the store (or all stores) and the period you selected.

  • A single store's file is named Sales Report - <store name>'s.csv.

  • With All Stores on, the file is named Sales Report - <business name> (All Stores).csv.

  • The column headings follow the language you use in QashierHQ.

  • It does not matter which tab of the report (Overview, Sales Breakdown, Payments and so on) you have open when you click Export.

To understand the figures in the file (gross sales, net sales, tax and discounts), see Understanding Your Sales Report: Net Sales, Gross Sales, Tax and Discounts Explained.

Export a day-by-day breakdown (Day Split View)

Day Split View shows one row per day of the selected period. Each day follows your store's opening hours, not midnight to midnight. Columns include gross sales, discount, net sales, tax, total sales, the number of sales transactions and voided transactions.

  1. On Full Report, choose the store under Source and the date range under Period, as in steps 1–3 above.

  2. Click Day Split View, next to the date range.

  3. In the Day Split View pop-up, click Export on the right. (Use Search on the left to find a day on screen; it does not change what is exported.)

  4. In the Export As CSV pop-up, click Confirm.

The file downloads as Day Split View (<store name>).csv, or Day Split View (ALL STORES).csv when All Stores is on.

Email the report instead

  1. On Full Report, choose one store and the period.

  2. Click Email at the top right, next to Export.

  3. In the Export Sales Report to Email pop-up, check the address shown, then click Confirm.

QashierHQ shows Sales Report has been sent to your store email. The Email button is hidden when All Stores is on or when the store has no store email. To get the report by email every day without doing this, see How to Get Your Daily Sales Report by Email Automatically (QashierHQ).

[Thailand] Tax invoice exports

For stores in Thailand with tax invoices turned on, Export opens a list instead of a single button. Choose the report you need, then click Confirm:

Sub Tax Invoice report

If you use the classic layout

If you switched QashierHQ to the classic layout, the Day Split View, Email and Export buttons sit above the report and work the same way. To go back to the default layout, click the layout icon at the top of the page (its tooltip reads Switch to modern UI).
