Set how many loyalty points customers earn for every 1 unit of your store currency they spend on products in a category. You do this per category in Product Management in QashierHQ, one category at a time or several at once with the shortcut.

Applies to: All markets · QashierHQ · Qashier Loyalty add-on (points system) enabled for the store · HQ users need Product Management access. Amounts are in your store's currency (SGD, MYR, PHP or THB); the field is labelled Reward Points per Dollar in every market.

Before you start

Loyalty points must be enabled for your store (Qashier Loyalty). The Assign Points button and the shortcut only appear when it is. If you do not see them, see How to Add Features and Manage Your Plan in Qashier Marketplace (QashierHQ) or contact support.
This page sets the earning rate for a category. It does not change an individual customer's balance. For that, see How to Adjust a Customer's Loyalty Points in QashierHQ.
If your account has a default points rate, new categories start with that rate automatically and the field is pre-filled with it.

Set the rate for one category

Log in to QashierHQ.
In the left menu, under Products & Inventory, click Product Management.
Choose the Store and the Tab that holds the category.
Click the category. Its details open in the category window.

Click Assign Points.
In the Assign Points to dialog, under Reward Points per Dollar, enter the points to award for every 1 unit of currency spent on products in this category. For example, enter 1 so a customer earns 1 point for every S$1, RM1, ₱1 or ฿1 spent. Decimals are allowed (for example 0.5 gives 1 point per 2 units); points earned are rounded down to whole numbers.
Click OK, then Confirm in the confirmation pop-up. A Points assigned successfully message appears.

Assign the same rate to many categories at once

In Product Management, choose the Store, then click Shortcut.
Click Assign Points Ratio Shortcut.
Choose the tab. The Categories in [Tab] Tab dialog opens.
Enter the Reward Points per Dollar.
Tick the categories you want to apply it to.
Click Confirm. A warning tells you that all previous points for the selected categories will be overwritten. Click OK to apply.
Repeat for each tab.

What you should see

(Point Ratio: 1) (or the rate you set) next to the category name at the top of the category window in QashierHQ.
On Qashier POS, the rate next to the category name in the product list, for example ($1 : 1Pt), in your store's currency.

If something goes wrong

Symptom	Cause	Fix
No Assign Points button in the category window	The points system is not enabled for this store	Enable Qashier Loyalty in Qashier Marketplace or contact support.
No Assign Points Ratio Shortcut under Shortcut	No store selected, or points not enabled	Select a store first; check the points system is enabled.
Customers earn no points on a category	The category has no rate, or the customer was not attached to the sale	Set a rate as above, and select the customer before payment on the POS.
A category's rate was replaced unexpectedly	The shortcut overwrites the rates of every ticked category	Re-assign the rate to that category individually.
