Adding an Ingredient:
Go to QashierHQ
Click on the drop-down icon under Product Management
Select Ingredient Management
Select + ADD INGREDIENT
Input the desired name for the ingredient
Input the quantity of the ingredient (if you already know the quantity)
Input the ingredient unit
(Optional) Input the cost of your ingredient (refer to to Note 1)
Once done, select CONFIRM
Newly created ingredient will show under Ingredient Management list
Here's a step-by-step video guide:
Note: The cost will be calculated based on per unit of the quantity, example, if your ingredient unit is in kilograms, then the cost will be calculated per kilogram.
In this case, Sugar's ingredient unit is in grams, ingredient quantity is 10,000, if you put the cost is $ 0.001, means that the total cost of 10,000 grams of Sugar is $10.00.
Deleting an Ingredient:
Go to QashierHQ
Click on the drop-down icon under Product Management
Select Ingredient Management
Select the ingredient you want to delete
Select the Delete button (red trash bin icon)
Select CONFIRM to confirm delete the ingredient
Caution: Products that are assigned with the deleted ingredient will be automatically unassigned from that product and this action cannot be undone.

Amending an Ingredient:
Go to QashierHQ
Click on the drop-down icon under Product Management
Select Ingredient Management
Select the ingredient you want to change the name, ingredient unit or cost of the ingredient
Select the Edit button (pen icon)
Change the name of the ingredient, ingredient unit or ingredient's cost
Once done, select CONFIRM.
