How Customers Pay via a Qashier Payment Link

After you share a Qashier payment link, your customer opens it, chooses a payment method and pays on a secure payment page. This article shows what your customer sees, so you can guide them if they get stuck.

How your customer pays

  1. Your customer opens the payment link you sent them by WhatsApp, SMS, email or social media.

  2. The payment page shows the amount to pay and the payment status.

  3. Your customer clicks Pay. If you did not enter their email address when you created the link, they may be asked to enter it before paying.

  4. Your customer chooses a payment method (see the table below) and completes the payment.

  5. A payment success page appears. In QashierHQ, the link's status changes to Paid.

Paying by card

  1. Your customer enters their card details.

  2. They click the pay button, which shows the amount in your store's currency, for example Pay SGD 50.00.

  3. Once the payment is approved, the success page appears.

Paying by PayNow (Singapore)

PayNow is available only to Singapore merchants and customers.

  1. Your customer selects PayNow. A QR code appears on the payment page.

  2. They scan the QR code with their mobile banking app.

  3. They confirm the payment in the banking app.

  4. Once the payment is received, the success page appears.

DuitNow (Malaysia) and PromptPay (Thailand) are also QR bank-transfer methods: your customer scans the QR code and confirms in their banking app.

What you should see

In QashierHQ, go to Sales Channels > Pay by Link and open the link. Its status is Paid, and the Payment Link details panel shows Paid on and Payment method. Your customer can reopen the same link to see the updated status.

If something goes wrong

Card payment declined

Wrong card details, card inactive or insufficient funds, or the bank declined it

Ask your customer to recheck the card details, try another payment method, or contact their bank.

Your customer says the link cannot be paid

The link has expired or was cancelled

Open the link in QashierHQ and click Create new link, then share the new link. See How to Create, Share and Track Payment Links in QashierHQ.

Your customer paid but the link still shows Unpaid

The bank or wallet has not confirmed the payment yet

Wait a few minutes and refresh. Check Money & Finance > Transactions. If it stays Unpaid, contact support with the link ID.
