Pay by Link lets you collect an online payment without a website or a terminal: you create a secure payment link in QashierHQ, share it with your customer, and they pay online. This article explains how it works and how to switch it on.

How Pay by Link works
You create a payment link in QashierHQ with the amount, an expiry date, an optional customer name and email, and a note.
You share the link by WhatsApp, SMS, email or social media.
Your customer opens the link and pays on a secure payment page with one of the online payment methods activated on your account.
The link's status changes to Paid in QashierHQ, and the money settles to your payout account like any other QashierPay online payment.
There is no subscription fee for Pay by Link. You pay only the online transaction fee on each successful payment.
Payment methods your customers can use
Only the methods activated on your account are offered on the payment page.

Before you start
An approved QashierPay online payment account. In Singapore and Malaysia, if you have not applied yet, go to Sales Channels > Online Payment and click Apply now. Approval usually takes 1–2 business days. In Thailand and Australia, contact support to set up online payments.
At least one online payment method enabled for the store. Singapore: Credit Card (Online) or PayNow. Malaysia and Australia: Credit Card (Online). Thailand: a Beam online method, enabled for you by Qashier.
The Pay by Link access right on your QashierHQ user role. Ask your account owner if you do not have it.
Activate Pay by Link
Pay by Link is activated per store.
Sign in to QashierHQ.
Open Qashier Marketplace from the bottom of the sidebar.
Open the Pay by Link card and click Activate. Repeat for each store that will send payment links.
Singapore and Malaysia only: you can also activate it from Sales Channels > Online Payment. Under Payment channels, find the Pay by link card and click Activate.
Once activated, Sales Channels > Pay by Link appears in the sidebar. Open it, choose your store and click Create Link to create your first link. Step-by-step: How to Create, Share and Track Payment Links in QashierHQ.
Thailand: Pay by Link and the Beam online methods are switched on for you by Qashier. Contact support to enable them: Contact Qashier Support by Phone, WhatsApp, LINE or Viber (SG, MY, TH, PH).
What you should see
The Pay by Link page opens with the subtitle "Create, send and track payment links." and a Create Link button at the top right, above the store selector. Pay by Link is now set up and ready to use.
If something goes wrong
Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
You don't see Pay by Link under Sales Channels | Not activated for any of your stores, or your user role lacks the Pay by Link access right | Activate it in Qashier Marketplace, or ask your account owner to grant the access right. |
Your link is saved as a draft with the message "Pay by Link isn't enabled for this store yet. Saved as draft instead — finish the payment-method setup to publish it." | Your online payment account is not approved yet, or no online payment method is enabled for the store | Finish the set-up in Before you start.
