Summary: Apply a manual preset discount that you set up in QashierHQ to the whole bill or to a single item in Qashier POS.
Applies to: All markets · Qashier POS and QashierHQ · stores with Discount Management turned on.
Before you start
Create the preset discount in QashierHQ: go to Discount Management > Create New Discount and set Trigger Type to Manual. Choose Total Bill for a bill discount or Specific Product(s) for an item discount. See How to Create a Preset Discount in QashierHQ.
If Discount Management is locked in your QashierHQ side menu, it isn't turned on for your store. Contact Qashier support.
Once saved, the preset discount shows on your Qashier POS automatically.
Apply a preset discount to the whole bill
On the home screen, tap POS & Payment.
Add the items for this order to the cart.
Tap Add Bill Discount, just above the Pay button. The Add/View Discount panel opens.
Your preset discounts are listed above the + Custom Discount tile. Tap the preset discount you want.
Tap Add & Close.
Tap Pay and select the customer's payment method.
Only one bill discount (preset or custom) applies at a time. Picking another one replaces it. To remove it, tap Bill Discount above the Pay button, then tap Clear.

Apply a preset discount to an item
On the home screen, tap POS & Payment.
Tap a product that has a preset discount.
Under Available Promotion(s) (per item), tap the preset discount.
Tap Add & Close. The item discount shows in the cart.
Tap Pay and select the customer's payment method.

Philippines: Senior Citizen, PWD and other special discounts follow BIR rules. For example, you can't add a special discount to an item while a bill-level special discount is active ("Double BIR Discounting Not Allowed").
