Understanding Commission Calculation
Commission can be applied to individual products by configuring the appropriate settings in QashierHQ.
For Individual Products: Merchants can use the Staff Commission Tier feature in QashierHQ to assign staff commission tiers and set commission rates for each product.
Assigning Commission Tier to Staff
Go to QashierHQ
Click on the Staff Management drop-down list on the left-hand side of the page
Select Staff Management
Click on the staff which you would like to assign the commission tier to
Click on Staff Commission Tier drop-down icon
Select one of the 3 options
Assistant
Junior
Senior
Select CONFIRM
Assigning Commission Rate to Staff per Item
Go to QashierHQ
Click on the Product Management drop-down list on the left-hand side of the page
Select an item to edit
Under Assistant, Junior, and Senior Commission Rates, choose either a fixed amount ($) or a percentage (%), then enter the corresponding value based on the employee's rank.
Click CONFIRM once the above steps are completed
Assigning Commission Rate to Staff via Bulk Upload
Go to QashierHQ
In the left-hand menu, click on the Product Management drop-down list, then select Product Bulk Create.
After entering the product details, navigate to the Assistant, Junior, and Senior Commission Rates section. Select either a fixed amount ($) or a percentage (%), then input the appropriate value based on the employee's rank.
Click CONFIRM once the above steps are completed
Note: The commission amount per unit sold remains unchanged, regardless of any bill-level or product-level discounts applied.
