Allowing selected staff to void/refund transactions:
This feature allows you to restrict voiding/refunding rights and only allow access to selected staff. You may follow the steps below to assign the access right to your staff:
Go to QashierHQ
Click on the Staff Management drop down list on the left-hand side of the page
Select Staff Management
Select the staff which you would like to give access to void/refund transactions
Toggle on "Allow staff member to void POS Transactions"
Click CONFIRM once step 5 is done
Granted Access VS Restricted Access to void/refund a transaction:
The following videos are scenarios when a staff has access to void/refund a transaction VS a staff has no access to void/refund a transaction in Qashier POS.
Staff has access to void/refund a transaction
When the staff has access to do a void/refund, you can refer to the steps as follows:
Go to Transaction Record
Select the transaction which you would like to void/refund
Select void/refund
Click Yes to confirm to void transaction
Key in the staff PIN and click confirm
Enter the void reason and click OK
A void successful pop-up will appear, click on Done refund to complete the void
The void is now complete
Staff is restricted and has no access to void/refund a transaction
When the staff has no access to do a void/refund, you can refer to the steps as follows:
Go to Transaction Record
Select the transaction which you would like to void/refund
Select void/refund
Click Yes to confirm to void transaction
Key in the staff PIN and click confirm
A message 'Staff Permission Denied' will be shown at the bottom of the page if the staff has no access to do a void/refund
The void will then be incomplete and transaction is not voided/refunded.
