Introduction
There are two types of loyalty points systems that Qashier offers.
Loyalty 1.0 is a basic points reward system where customers can earn points from their purchases and redeem it for their future purchase.
Loyalty 2.0 (also known as Treats) is an enhanced version of Loyalty 1.0, which comes with a web app. With Loyalty 2.0, customers can track their purchases history and points via the web app. They can also link their credit cards to automatically earn points with each transaction.
This article discusses on the basic functions of Loyalty 1.0 - assigning loyalty points to the customers and how do they earn loyalty points.

How to assign loyalty points to your customers
Select "☰" on the top right-hand corner of your POS homepage
Select Manage Products
Enter the terminal PIN and tap OK
Tap on category and the category details will appear
Tap on the pencil icon on the right beside the category name to edit category the details
Under rewards point per dollar, key in the points to award the customer on every $1 spent on the products in the category. e.g. customer will be awarded 1 point for $1 spent
Tap on Confirm and the dollar to point ratio will be displayed next to the category name (e.g. $1 : 1Pt)
Note: You can choose the category that you would like to assign the points to. Point ratio assigned will only apply to the products in the selected category.
If you would like to assign points to all categories, you will have to manually select all the categories and key in the points awarded accordingly.

How do customers earn points
Go to POS & PAYMENT
Tap on CUSTOMER located in the red box on the right-hand side of the page
Search for customer by entering the phone number or name
Tap SEARCH and customer name will be reflected
Tap on CONFIRM
The customer's name will be reflected in the red box at the right-hand corner of the pos page
Proceed to select a category that you have assigned points to followed by a product
Tap ADD & CLOSE to save product into cart
Tap PAY to proceed to the payment page
Select a payment method and tap CONFIRM
Select BACK TO POS
Tap on the triangle button on the bottom-left of the POS
Select Customer Management
Enter the name, number or email of the customer you want to search into the search bar
Tap on the search icon at the right-hand side of the search bar
The customer's name will appear on the left-hand side of the page, tap on it to show the customer details
Under credit/point information, points will be awarded under total point available
Note:
The calculation of points will be based on the point to dollar ratio in the category X the product cost.
For e.g.
Category A's point to dollar ration is $1:1Pt
Cost of the product in Category A is $5
Formula: Point to dollar ratio X Cost = 1Pt x $5 = 5 points awarded
