Summary: You can rename a store in QashierHQ. The new name shows in the QashierHQ store list, on Qashier POS reports, on table bills and on order chits.

Changing the name on your receipts? The store name printed at the top of receipts is a separate field. Go to Settings > Additional Settings > Receipt & Bill Settings and edit Store name to be printed on receipt header. See How to Customise the Receipt Header and Footer (Receipt Tail) in QashierHQ.
Change your store name
Log in to QashierHQ.
Click the Settings (gear) icon at the top right of the page. On a phone, tap your account icon, then tap Settings.
Under Store, click Basic Settings. In the classic QashierHQ view, this tab is called Store Settings.
If you have more than one store, choose the store to rename from the Store drop-down list.
Type the new name in Store Name. The name cannot be blank.
Click Submit.
What you should see
A Successfully updated store settings message appears. On your Qashier POS terminal, go back to the home screen so it loads the new name.
If something goes wrong
Symptom | Cause | Fix |
"Please enter something" under Store Name | The field is empty | Type a store name, then click Submit. |
Receipts still show the old name | Receipts use the separate Store name to be printed on receipt header field | Change it in Additional Settings > Receipt & Bill Settings. |
The POS still shows the old name | The POS has not loaded the new settings yet | Go back to the POS home screen. If it still shows the old name, close and reopen Qashier POS. |
