Pair a Beam card terminal (Bolt) with your Qashier POS so that card and e-wallet payments you start on the POS are completed on the Beam terminal, with the result written back to the POS automatically.
Applies to: Thailand · Qashier POS · the Bolt+ integration add-on (Beam Direct KYC) · Beam terminal payment methods enabled on your store by Qashier. The Beam Terminal Pairing item appears in Settings only after at least one Beam terminal payment method is enabled.
Before you start
You have completed your Beam merchant onboarding (KYC) and received a Beam Bolt terminal.
The Bolt+ integration add-on is active on your plan. It is a paid add-on; contact support for pricing and activation.
The Beam terminal is switched on and shows its 8-character pairing code.
Each store can have one paired Beam terminal at a time. To swap terminals, unpair the old one first.
Pair the terminal
On Qashier POS, tap the ☰ menu, then Settings.
Tap Beam Terminal Pairing.
In Pairing code, type the 8-character code shown on the Beam terminal. Letters and numbers only.
Tap Pair device.
The screen switches to Paired device and shows the Device ID, the Connection ID and Status: Active.
Take a payment on the Beam terminal
Ring up the sale and tap Pay.
Tap the Beam terminal tile for the method the customer wants: card, PromptPay, LINE Pay, TrueMoney, ShopeePay, WeChat Pay, Alipay, Alipay+ or SPayLater. The Beam terminal tiles are logo tiles shown first on the payment screen, before your other payment methods. The tiles you see depend on what is enabled for your store.
The Beam terminal shows the amount. The customer completes the payment on the terminal: tap or insert the card, or follow the e-wallet prompt on the terminal.
When Beam approves the payment, the POS completes the sale and prints the receipt.
To cancel while the terminal is waiting, press back on the POS. The Beam terminal has no cancel button of its own, so you always cancel from the POS. For the first few seconds the POS only shows Payment is in progress on the terminal. Please wait…; after that it shows Payment is processing and asks you to confirm that the customer has not completed payment on the terminal. Tap Cancel Payment to stop the transaction, or Continue Processing to keep waiting. If the customer paid in the meantime, the POS shows Payment already approved on payment terminal… and completes the sale. Wait for the POS to return to the payment screen before you start a new sale.
Unpair or replace the terminal
Go to ☰ > Settings > Beam Terminal Pairing.
Tap Unpair device. The screen returns to the pairing form.
To pair a replacement, enter its code and tap Pair device.
What you should see
Beam terminal payments appear in Transaction Record on the POS and under Transactions in QashierHQ with the method name (for example Card Payment or PromptPay).
Payouts follow your Beam settlement schedule. See [TH] Beam QR FAQ: KYC, Refunds and Payouts.
