[SG] Dynamic GrabPay Soundbox

Overview

With GrabPay and Alipay+ now available on the Qashier Soundbox, merchants can easily accept payments from international tourists. This feature boosts transactions at tourist hotspots, increasing sales and expanding customer reach. By connecting to a larger payment network, merchants can improve their business performance and grow their customer base.

This partnership will allow outlet staff to generate dynamic payment QR codes on Soundbox that can directly accept various international E-wallets such as:

  • Alipay (Chinese Mainland)

  • Alipay HK (Hong Kong SAR)

  • Kakao Pay

  • Naver Pay

  • Toss Pay (South Korea)

  • Tinaba (Italy)

  • MPay (Macao SAR)

  • Touch n' Go eWallet and MyPB by Public Bank Berhad (Malaysia)

  • Hipay (Mongolia)

  • Gcash (Philippines)

  • TrueMoney (Thailand)

Applying GrabPay for Soundbox

Merchants signing up for the Qashier Soundbox will have PayNow as the default payment method.

Complete the provided application form to activate the payment method.

Existing Soundbox Merchant

  • Provide details about your business nature when prompted by the representative.

Ensure that your business information is accurate and complete when interacting with Customer Service.

Existing merchants using GrabPay separately must first contact Grab to cancel their current setup before applying for Qashier Soundbox. The approval process for GrabPay typically takes 10 working days.

How to Use

Receiving Payment

  1. Staff enters the total amount on the Soundbox keypad and generates a GrabPay QR code.

  2. Customers scan and pay. (Dynamic QR is valid for 5 minutes.)

  3. Payment is confirmed with a sound and display message.

Viewing Transaction History Using Soundbox

  1. Merchants can view the last 5 transactions directly on the Soundbox device for quick access to transaction history.

    1. Press F1 to view the last 5 transactions as well as today's total sales amount

Viewing Soundbox Transaction Record in QashierHQ

  1. Go to QashierHQ.

  2. On the left side of the screen, click on "Transaction Record."

  3. Choose the store you wish to view.

  4. Set the desired date range to display the relevant transactions.

Merchants can export transaction records by clicking either the "EXPORT" or "EXPORT BY MONTH" button located next to the date range selection.

Note: Transaction records can only be viewed in 30-day increments or one month per view.

Viewing Soundbox Payout in QashierHQ

  1. Log in to QashierHQ.

  2. From the menu on the left, click on "Payout Report."

  3. Select "Soundbox."

  4. Choose the store you wish to view.

  5. Set the desired month to display the relevant payout transactions.
