Overview

At the moment, Qashier is providing merchants with two scanning devices: Zebra LS2208 Handheld scanner and Honeywell HF680 Omnidirectional scanner. These devices are designed to enhance the merchant experience.

While merchants are still able to purchase external brands, please note that our customer service support may be limited for these products.

When to factory reset the barcode scanner?

There are several reasons why you might need to perform a hard reset on a barcode scanner:

  1. Restore Default Settings: Over time, the settings on a barcode scanner may become misconfigured or corrupted, leading to issues with scanning accuracy or performance. Performing a hard reset restores the scanner to its default factory settings, eliminating any problematic configurations.

  2. Troubleshooting: If the barcode scanner is experiencing persistent issues or malfunctions that cannot be resolved through normal troubleshooting steps, a hard reset may be necessary to resolve more deeply rooted software or firmware problems.

Resetting to factory defaults will not change the interface setting of the product.
