Summary: Create many new products at once in QashierHQ by filling in an Excel template and uploading it. This saves you creating each product by hand and works for any store on Qashier POS.
Applies to: All markets. QashierHQ. You need access to Product Management in QashierHQ.
Before you start
This import only creates new products. To change products you already have, use Product Bulk Update (see How to Bulk Create and Bulk Update Products in QashierHQ) or Update Product Price via Excel (see How to Update Product Prices in Bulk via Excel in QashierHQ).
Know your Tab and Category names. Products on Qashier POS sit in Tabs, which contain Categories, which contain Products. See How to Create Tabs, Categories and Products in QashierHQ.
If you already have products, you can export them (see How to Export Your Product List (CSV) in QashierHQ). The export has a different layout from the import template, so copy the values into the template column by column.
Steps
Log in to QashierHQ. In the left menu, under Products & Inventory, click Product Management.
Select your store, then click Bulk Action (top right) and choose Create Products from Excel.
In the dialog, under Step 1, click Download. The file Upload products template.xlsx is saved to your downloads folder. Always download a fresh template from this dialog: its columns depend on your store settings.
Open the template and fill in one row per product. Do not change row 1 (the column headers). Columns marked with * are required. See the column guide below.
Save the file as .xlsx or .csv. Back in QashierHQ, open Bulk Action > Create Products from Excel again if you closed it. Under Step 2, click the + button, pick your file, then click Create.
Check the result. The dialog shows how many products were created, for example "8 out of 10 products created", and lists each row that failed with the reason. If there are more than 10 errors, click Download Error List to save the list as a text file. Fix those rows in your file, delete the rows that were created successfully, and upload the file again.
What you should see
The new products appear in Product Management under the Tab and Category you entered, and on your Qashier POS after it syncs. Rows with errors are not created; every other row is.
Column guide

Tabs and Categories: a Category name that does not exist yet is created for you. A Tab name that does not exist yet is created only if your store still has an empty tab slot, set in Edit Tab > Number of Tabs; otherwise that row is rejected. Check your spelling before you upload, so you do not end up with an unwanted new Category.
If something goes wrong
