Summary: Create one retail category in QashierHQ and let it generate a product for every colour and size variant (for example T-Shirt/Red/S, T-Shirt/Red/M). On Qashier POS, cashiers tap the category and pick the colour and size.
Applies to: All markets · QashierHQ · an account with access to Settings (to switch the mode on) and Product Management.
Before you start
Log in to QashierHQ and click the Settings (gear) icon at the top of the page.
Under Store, click Additional Settings, then Product Settings.
Tick Enable Color/Size mode. If you are a sub-user and cannot open Settings, ask the account owner to do this or to give you Settings access.
Also note:
Colour/size categories are for products only. They are not available for Combo categories or in the Credit tab.
If Chain Shop Management is enabled for your account, the generated products are shared across all stores.
Create the colour/size category
In the left menu, under Products & Inventory, click Product Management, then choose the store.
Select the tab where you want the products to live.
Click the + button beside the Category heading. The Create Category dialog opens.
Enter the category name, for example "T-Shirt".
Keep the Product/Combo toggle on Product.
Tick My products have various size and/or colours, then click Confirm in the pop-up. The dialog title changes to Create Category & Products.
Enable Colour and Enable Size are both ticked by default. If your products vary only by colour, untick Enable Size. If they vary only by size, untick Enable Colour. Keep both for colour and size.
Enter the Price. It is applied to every generated product, so choose the price that fits most variants; you can change individual prices later.
Optional: enter a Cost. It is also applied to every generated product.

Add the colours
Click the + icon in the Item Colour field.
Type the colour, for example "Red", and click Confirm.
Repeat for each colour.
Add the sizes
Click the + icon in the Item Size field.
Type the size, for example "S", and click Confirm.
Repeat for each size.
Finish and check the products
Optional: tick Track Inventory to track stock for every colour/size product. See How to Track Inventory in QashierHQ.
Click Confirm to create the category and its products.
Click the new category tile and check that every combination is listed.
What you should see
QashierHQ creates one product per combination, named category/colour/size. With category "T-Shirt", colours Red and Blue and sizes S and M, you get four products: T-Shirt/Red/S, T-Shirt/Red/M, T-Shirt/Blue/S and T-Shirt/Blue/M. Colour-only categories produce names like T-Shirt/Red, and size-only categories T-Shirt/S.
On Qashier POS, tapping the category opens a colour and size picker instead of a plain product list.
Add colours or sizes, or change prices, later
In a colour/size category, the category pop-up shows Edit Colour/Size in place of Add Product.
Click the category tile, then click Edit Colour/Size.
To add a variant, click the + icon in the Colour or Size field. In the Create Item Colour or Create Item Size pop-up, enter the Item Colour or Item Size, its Price and, if needed, tick Track Inventory, then click Confirm. QashierHQ generates the new products.
To rename or remove a variant, use the edit and delete icons beside it.
To change the order cashiers see, click Edit POS Colour Display Sequence or Edit POS Size Display Sequence.

If something goes wrong
What you see | Cause | What to do |
The checkbox My products have various size and/or colours is missing | Enable Color/Size mode is off, the toggle is on Combo, or you are in the Credit tab. | Switch the mode on in Product Settings, keep Product selected and use a normal tab. |
