Hide a product from the menu customers see on QR ordering and the self-ordering kiosk, while your staff can still sell it on Qashier POS.
Applies to: All markets · QashierHQ · stores with Dynamic QR ordering, Static QR ordering or the self-ordering kiosk turned on · a QashierHQ login with Product Management access.
Before you start: the Hide from QR menu / Kiosk checkbox only appears if Dynamic QR ordering, Static QR ordering or the self-ordering kiosk is on for the store. Using Mobile Ordering only? Hide items in the Mobile Ordering menu instead (see How to Set Up Mobile Ordering (Treats Ordering) in QashierHQ).
How to hide a product from the QR menu and kiosk
Go to QashierHQ.
In the left sidebar, under Products & Inventory, click Product Management.
Select the store in the Store picker.
Click the category, then click the product you want to hide. The product window opens. (To hide a new product, click Add Product instead.)
Click Advanced Settings to expand it. It is collapsed by default.
Tick Hide from QR menu / Kiosk.
Click Confirm.

What you should see
The product no longer shows on the QR ordering menu or on the self-ordering kiosk.
Staff can still find the product on Qashier POS and add it to any order. This suits staff-only items, secret-menu specials or items you only sell at the counter.
To show the product again, untick Hide from QR menu / Kiosk and click Confirm.
Hover over the checkbox in QashierHQ to see a short description of what it does.
Good to know
One setting covers both channels. You cannot hide a product from QR ordering but keep it on the kiosk, or the other way round.
Chain Shop Management: if you tick Hide from this store for a product, Hide from QR menu / Kiosk is ticked automatically and locked for that store.
On Qashier POS: the POS product editor has the same setting, labelled Hide from QR menu. Changing it on either side changes the same product.
Kiosk: make sure your kiosk runs the latest Qashier POS app version.
If you only want to stop selling a product for a while (for example, it has run out), mark it as sold out instead (see How to Show Out-of-Stock Items as Sold Out on QR Ordering).
