Inventory Management on Qashier POS counts the stock of every product that has Track Inventory turned on. Each sale reduces the count automatically, so you can see what is left without counting by hand.

Markets: All markets
Product: Qashier POS
Plan or add-on: Inventory Management must be enabled for your store
Access: the Terminal PIN, if one is set, to change product settings on the POS
Before you start
If you are not sure whether to count products or ingredients, see Inventory Management vs Ingredient Management: Which Should I Use?.
If a Terminal PIN is set on your terminal, you need it to open Manage Products.
Turn on Track Inventory for a product
On the POS home screen, tap the ☰ icon at the top right.
Tap Manage Products and enter the Terminal PIN if asked.
Tap the product you want to count.
Tick Track Inventory.
Tap Confirm.
You can also turn it on in QashierHQ, which is quicker when you have many products. See How to Track Inventory in QashierHQ.
Check a product's stock on the POS
On the POS home screen, tap Inventory Management. From the order screen, tap the device's Back button to open the Quick Menu (if Table Management is on, tap Back twice), then tap Inventory Management.
Find the product in the list. If the list is long, use Search.
Only products with Track Inventory turned on are listed. The same counts are shown in QashierHQ under Products & Inventory > Inventory / Ingredient, on the Inventory tab.
What happens after a sale: an example
In this example the product Q-Chicken is tracked and its count is 100.
Tap POS & Payment.
Tap the product to add it to the order. In this example, Q-Chicken under the Meal tab, Burger category.
Set the quantity to 9 and tap Add & Close.
Tap Pay and choose Cash.
If the customer pays the exact amount (44.90 in this example), tap Exact Cash, then Confirm.
Tap Back to POS.
Tap the device's Back button to open the Quick Menu, then tap Inventory Management.
The count for Q-Chicken is now 91. Nine were sold, so nine were deducted automatically.
Voids and low stock
When you void a sale, the POS asks Would you like to add back the inventory of the voided items? Confirm to return those items to stock.
If you add a product whose stock is not enough for the order, the POS warns that the product has insufficient stock. Tap Confirm and add to add it anyway.
To be warned before a product runs out, set a low-stock threshold. See How to Set Up Low Stock Alerts (POS, QashierHQ and Email).
To correct a count after a delivery, damage or a stock take, use stock actions. See How to Adjust Stock Count with Stock Actions on Qashier POS.
