Quickly sell an item that isn't in your product list by adding a Customized Product (open item) with its own name and price to the current order. It is not saved to your product list.

If you sell the same item often at a different price each time, set it up as a product with an open price instead. See How to Enable Open Price (Custom Price at Checkout) for a Product.
Add a Customized Product
On the home screen, tap POS & Payment.
Tap the Customized Product icon (the calculator-style icon) in the top bar of the POS page.
In the Customized Product window, enter the Item Name and Price.
Optionally set the Quantity or add Notes. Depending on your store settings, you can also tick Mark as Takeaway, choose a tax option, select a staff member, or add a discount (by percentage or amount, or with the 10% OFF to FOC shortcuts).
Tap Add Item. The item is added to the cart.
Continue the sale as usual.
If something goes wrong
What you see | Why | What to do |
No Customized Product icon in the top bar | Disable Customized Product in Point of Sales page is ticked in QashierHQ | In QashierHQ, go to Settings > Additional Settings > POS Settings and untick Disable Customized Product in Point of Sales page. If the icon still doesn't show, close and reopen the Qashier POS app. |
Please input the discount Amount | You chose a discount type but left the amount empty | Enter the discount amount, then tap Add Item again |
To stop staff from adding Customized Products, tick Disable Customized Product in Point of Sales page in the same place.
