This article shows how to connect the QashierXS (Black) portable card terminal (Adyen S1F2) to Wi-Fi from the terminal's own Settings menu, and how to check that it is online. Use it when you set the terminal up in a new location or when it has lost its Wi-Fi connection.
Applies to: Singapore · QashierXS (Black) portable card terminal (the Adyen terminal that runs Qashier POS; the device shows "S1F2" under Device info) · QashierPay card payments. You need the terminal's admin passcode from your onboarding email.
Before you start
Have your Wi-Fi network name and password ready.
Find the terminal's admin passcode in your onboarding email. This is the card terminal's own passcode; it is not your Qashier POS Terminal PIN. If you cannot find it, contact Qashier Support.
Steps
Press the round (circle) home button to leave Qashier POS and go to the terminal's home screen.
Tap Settings.
Tap Network. At the Enter passcode prompt, enter the admin passcode.
Tap Wi-Fi.
Switch on Use Wi-Fi.
Select your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter its password.
Tap the Qashier POS icon to return to Qashier POS.
What you should see
Once connected, the cloud icon appears at the top left and the Wi-Fi icon at the top right of the screen. When both icons are showing, the terminal is online and ready to take card payments.
If something goes wrong

"Incorrect password" or the terminal will not connect | Wrong Wi-Fi password, or a saved network with old details | Restart the terminal, then select the network again and re-enter the password carefully |
Wi-Fi icon shows but the cloud icon is missing | The terminal is connected to Wi-Fi but cannot reach the internet | Check that other devices can browse on the same network; restart the router and the terminal |
The passcode is not accepted or you do not have it | Wrong passcode (for example the Qashier POS Terminal PIN) | Use the admin passcode from your onboarding email, or contact support |
