How to Connect the Wi-Fi Kitchen Printer to Qashier POS

Equipment required to setup Wifi Printer:

  1. Qashier POS

  2. Qashier Wifi Printer (Black model)

  3. A laptop or phone


IP address may come in different combinations:

  • 192.168.50.X

  • 192.168.1.X

  • 192.168.0.X

Follow our guide below to find out your IPv4 address to correctly set up your printer.


Part 1: Find the IP address of your Qashier POS

Here's how to find your Wifi IP address:

  1. Connect your Qashier POS terminal to your Wi-Fi network. (If your network has both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, connect to the 2.4 GHz network.)

    To identify which is 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, refer to your Wi-Fi name.

    2.4 GHz Wi-Fi

    [your Wi-Fi name] OR [your Wi-Fi name_2G]

    5 GHz Wi-Fi

    [your Wi-Fi name_5G].

  2. Once connected, go to the Wi-Fi page on your Qashier POS terminal.

  3. Select the Gear icon located on the top right of the Wi-Fi page.

  4. Take note of your IPv4 address (e.g. 192.168.50.xxx).

    Ignore the last 3 digits behind the last dot.

    You will need to key in the IP address in the blue printer configuration page below.


Part 2: Configuring your Printer Wifi IP Address

  • Plug in, turn on your printer, and place a receipt roll inside.

  • Connect your computer/phone to the Printer's Wifi (The printer's network name starts with 'E250-xxxx').

  • Open your browser and type in 10.10.100.254 and it will prompt for a username and password.

  • Username: admin, Password: admin

  1. Go to STA Setting

  2. Network Name (SSID): Select "Scan" and select your wifi network from the list.

  3. Password: Enter your wifi password.

  4. IP Address: Based on IPv4 addres found in Part 1 Copy IP address but last 3 digits change to '201' (for 2nd printer change to '202', 3rd printer change to '203' and so on)

  5. Gateway address Copy IP address but last 3 digits change to '1' Do not change the following

  • Encryption Method

  • Encryption Algorithm

  • Obtain an IP address automatically: Disable

  • Subnet Mask: Enter 255.255.255.0

  • DNS Server Address

  • Ensure that the devices (printer and Qashier POS) are connected to the same WiFi network to avoid connection issues.

Select Save and restart your printer by turning it off and on again. Your printer should print out a Wifi Configuration slip as shown below.


Part 3: How to link your Qashier POS terminal to your Qashier WIFI Printer

On your Qashier POS terminal,

  1. Select "☰" on the top right-hand corner of your POS homepage

  2. Select Settings

  3. Key in your terminal pin

  4. Select Printer Settings

  5. Click on the Printer 1 IP Address field and enter the IP address you previously set for the printer in Part 2

  6. Once done, select SAVE

Note: If you have multiple printers, you can enter the IP addresses for each printer accordingly

Do not select the "PRINTER "x" SETUP CONFIGURATION" option, and return to the POS home page.

Part 3.5: Troubleshooting WiFi Printer Issues

If you encounter connectivity issues with your WiFi Printer, follow these troubleshooting steps:

Performing a Hard Reset on the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer.

  2. While it is off, press and hold the "Feed" button.

  3. Keep holding the "Feed" button while turning the printer back on.

  4. Continue holding the button until all the front panel lights illuminate. Then, release the button. For additional support, consult Qashier's online help resources or contact their support team.
