Daily Dashboard in QashierHQ: How It Works (Today's Sales, Alerts and Who Is on Shift)

What each card on the QashierHQ Daily Dashboard shows, how the Needs attention alerts are triggered, and how to reactivate sold-out products from it.

Summary: The Daily Dashboard is the first item in the QashierHQ sidebar. It shows today's sales as they happen for one outlet, flags things that need attention (a staff member who forgot to clock out, products you cannot sell, an unusual number of voids) and takes you straight to the page where you fix each one. Use it for a quick check during the day; use the Full Report for the numbers you reconcile.

Applies to: All markets · QashierHQ on the web and in the Qashier HQ mobile app · all plans · the account owner, or a staff login that has been given access to the Daily Dashboard.

How to open it

  1. Log in to QashierHQ. In the sidebar, under Today, tap Daily Dashboard.

  2. Pick the outlet in the Store selector at the top right. If your account is part of a brand group, you can also switch between This outlet and All outlets; in the all-outlets view the per-outlet cards (best sellers, unavailable items, who is on shift) are hidden and Needs attention shows only the void-rate alert.

The header greets you by name, shows today's date and time, and a Live · updated … marker. The page refreshes itself about once a minute while it is open and pauses while the browser tab is in the background.

What is on the page

Needs attention (top strip, Sorted by urgency). Each alert has a button that opens the right page:

  • "… hasn't clocked out" — a staff member has been clocked in for more than 16 hours. Fix clock-out opens Time Card filtered to missing clock-outs.

  • "… is out of stock" — a product with tracked inventory has reached zero. View inventory or Restock opens Inventory Management.

  • "… is marked sold out" — a product or category was marked unavailable by hand. Reactivate products or Reactivate categories puts them back on sale. These buttons only show if your login can manage products.

  • "Void rate is …% today" — shown once the outlet has at least 10 transactions today, the void rate is 5% or more, and it is at least double your average over the past week (or there were no voids in the past week). Review voids opens Transactions.

  • A best seller that is out of stock or marked sold out gets its own alert, with Restock or Reactivate.

Headline numbers:

  • Total sales today, with Yesterday total and a small line chart of today's running total.

  • Transactions, with the average order value.

  • Customers — distinct customers in your CRM who bought something today, split into new and returning. Sales with no customer attached are not counted here.

  • On shift now, with the running labour cost. The cost is the hours since each clock-in multiplied by the hourly rate on that staff member's profile; if no rates are set it stays at zero.

Sales over today — sales by hour, today against yesterday, with the peak hour so far. View full report → opens the Full Report.

Best sellers today — top products by quantity sold. All products → opens Product Management.

Unavailable to sell — every product that is out of stock, marked sold out, or both. Filter the list with out of stock, marked sold out or both. Each row has Restock or Reactivate. A line at the bottom counts items running low. Manage inventory → opens Inventory Management.

Who's on the floor — staff currently clocked in, since when, and their sales today. Time card → opens the time card.

Recent transactions — the last five orders. Tapping a row, or All transactions →, opens the Transactions page.

How does today compare? — today against yesterday, against your 7-day average, and against your best day this month.

Reactivating products from the dashboard

  • One product: in Unavailable to sell, tap Reactivate on its row (or on a best-seller alert). It goes back on sale straight away, and a message confirms it with Undo if you change your mind.

  • Several products or categories: on the "marked sold out" alert, tap Reactivate products or Reactivate categories. If more than one is listed, a picker opens: tick the items, or tap Select all, then tap the reactivate button that shows the count. A message confirms how many were reactivated, with Undo.

Out-of-stock items cannot be reactivated from here: tap Restock and record the stock in Inventory Management.

What you should see

  • The numbers move as new sales are recorded for the selected outlet.

  • On a very busy day the page notes that it is showing the latest 500 transactions and that some totals may undercount until the end of the day. Use the Full Report for final figures: How to View a Past Sales Report (Full Report) in QashierHQ.
