Summary: The Sales Dashboard in QashierHQ shows one store's sales trends at a glance: compare months, weeks, days and hours side by side, see the past 30 days and check sales hour by hour. Use it to spot trends; use Full Report for exact figures and exports.

Before you start
If your account has more than one store, the Dashboard page has two tabs. This article covers Store Specific Reports. For the MULTI STORE REPORTS tab see How to Use the Multi-Store Sales Dashboard in QashierHQ.

Open the dashboard
Log in to QashierHQ and select Sales Dashboard in the sidebar. The page title is Dashboard.
If you see tabs, stay on Store Specific Reports.
Choose the store in the Store selector at the top. Every chart on the page refreshes for that store.
Compare periods
The page starts with four comparison cards: Compare across Months, Compare across Weeks, Compare across Days and Compare by Hours. Each card works the same way:
Choose what to plot: QUANTITY (items sold) or SALES (in your store currency).
By default the card shows All Products. Select All Products to narrow the chart to a single product, then Confirm. Use the circular reset button to go back to all products.
Set the main period with the date button and the arrows on either side of it.
Under compared to, choose the second period: for months LAST MONTH, SAME MONTH LAST YEAR or SPECIFIC MONTH; for weeks LAST WEEK, SAME WEEK LAST MONTH, SAME WEEK LAST YEAR or SPECIFIC WEEK; for days SAME DAY LAST WEEK, SAME DAY LAST MONTH, SAME DAY LAST YEAR or SPECIFIC DATE. The specific options let you pick the period from a calendar.
Read the chart: months and weeks show bars for each day of the period; days and hours show lines by hour of the day. Hover over a point to see both periods' values. Drag on the chart to zoom in.
Compare by Hours is different: it compares products on a single day, hour by hour, so it has no "compared to" option.
Past 30 days
The Past 30 Days card shows two charts for the selected store: Daily Sales (a line for each of the last 30 days) and Average Sales by Day (a bar for each weekday, Sunday to Saturday, so you can see which days are strongest).
Hourly sales
The Hourly Sales card plots sales for one day from 00:00 to 23:00. It opens on today; select the date button in the card header to pick another day.
What you should see
Charts refresh a few seconds after you change the store, product or period.
A flat line or empty bars mean no sales for that period or product, not an error.
If something goes wrong

The Dashboard page shows an introduction and a Talk to us button instead of charts | The store is on payment-only mode, which does not include the dashboard | Select Talk to us to ask about adding it, or use Full Report. |
No MULTI STORE REPORTS tab | The account has only one store | Expected. The tab appears when there is more than one store. |
Sales Dashboard is missing from the sidebar | Your QashierHQ login does not have the Dashboard access right | Ask your account owner to have the access right added to your login, or contact support. |
