If your shop is a mall tenant, the mall usually requires a daily sales (gross turnover, GTO) file. Qashier's GTO integration sends that file to the mall automatically, so you stay compliant without exporting anything by hand.
Applies to: Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand · QashierHQ and Qashier POS · the GTO submission add-on (included in the current Singapore plan; a paid add-on in other markets).
Before you start
Ask your mall for its GTO submission requirements and your tenant or shop code. Qashier needs these to set up the connection.
Check the add-on for your market. Philippines pricing is in Qashier Pricing Plans and Add-ons (Philippines); for Malaysia and Thailand, contact support for the current price.
Activate the integration in QashierHQ
Log in to QashierHQ and open Qashier Marketplace.
Open the shopping mall (GTO) integration add-on and tap the button on it: Activate if GTO is included in your plan, or Add to current plan if it is a paid add-on for you.
This opens a chat with our team. Tell us your mall, your tenant or shop code and the store to connect. The mall connection is configured by Qashier, not from a settings page.
Once it is set up, the add-on shows Activated for that store.
What happens every day
Qashier generates your sales file for the day and sends it to the mall's system. You do not need to do anything on the POS.
The file is built from the transactions recorded on Qashier POS for that store. Sales taken outside Qashier are not included, so record every sale on the POS.
Keep the POS online at the end of the day so the day's transactions have synced before the file is generated.
Ayala Malls (Philippines): generate a GTO file from the POS
Ayala Malls tenants can also generate and send a day's file from the POS, for example after the POS was offline.
On the POS home screen, tap the ☰ menu, then Offline GTO. The item only appears for stores set up for Ayala Malls.
The POS asks Generate & Send GTO Report? and explains that the file will be sent to the Ayala Malls uploader. Tap Generate Offline.
Pick the date. You can choose yesterday or any earlier day, not today.
Wait for the result. The POS shows Report generation in progress. Please check dashboard for files in 10 minutes. If it shows Failed to generate report. Please try again later., try again later or contact support.
Ayala Malls (Philippines): "GTO file not submitted" when you open the POS
For stores set up for Ayala Malls, the POS can block new sales until the GTO file has been submitted. When you tap into the sales screen, it shows GTO file not submitted with the message Please generate and submit the GTO file to proceed.
Tap Submit. The POS shows Generating GTO report..., then Uploading GTO report..., then Finishing up....
When it shows GTO report generated and uploaded successfully, the POS opens the sales screen as normal.
If you tap Cancel, the POS stays blocked until the file is submitted.
If something goes wrong
