Power up Soundbox
1. Locate the power button on the back of the Soundbox.
2. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to activate the Soundbox.
3. After the Soundbox has been successfully configured and powered up, it will promptly display the "Display Name" along with the PromptPay signage, indicating that the Soundbox is now ready for immediate use.
Charging Qashier Soundbox
Locate the USB-C port at the side of the Soundbox and plug in the charging cable in to charge.
Transaction via Qashier Soundbox
1. After powering on the device, connecting it to the internet. Once Soundbox is in a standby screen, merchant can use the keyboard at the back of the device to enter the amount for customer needs to pay. Once the amount is entered, press the green button to confirm.
2. QR PromptPay will be generated and appear on Soundbox. Customer scan the QR Code for payment
2. Once the payment is received, the Soundbox will audibly announce the amount received and display it on the screen with checkmark for payment confirmation.
Note: The smaller digits on the left side of the digital screen represent a transaction counter, which will reset every time the Soundbox is powered off.
The larger digit on the right side will display the amount received.
Voiding transactions made via Qashier Soundbox
If you need to void any transactions that were made via the Qashier Soundbox device, you can only void the transaction via the QashierHQ portal. Please refer to this article for more information: How to void a transaction in QashierHQ
After the transaction has been voided, you will have to refund the amount back to the customer via cash as the voided transaction cannot be automatically refunded back to the customer's bank account.
How to check your sales balance on the Qashier Soundbox
Currently, you can easily view your sales information through the Qashier Soundbox device, this is also included the last five transactions details.
To view the transactions, you are able to follow the below steps
On the back of the Soundbox, press F1.
Today's sales balance and the last 5 transactions will be shown on the front screen.
Press F1 or F2 to scroll down or up.
The Soundbox will return to standby screen with display of PromptPay signage after 10 seconds of inactivity.
