If your QashierPay card terminal runs in standalone payment mode next to your own cash register (not Qashier POS), your customers can still earn and redeem Treats points on the terminal. This setup is sometimes called PayTreats. This article shows how customers earn points, how staff redeem points, and where to see these transactions.
Applies to: Singapore and Malaysia only · QashierPay terminal in standalone payment mode (QashierXS or XS Plus) used with a separate, non-Qashier cash register · Treats.
Before you start
Treats must be active for your store. See Treats: How to Set Up and Use Treats Loyalty.
Your QashierPay terminal must be set up in standalone payment mode by Qashier. If it is not, contact Qashier Support.

Earning points
On the terminal, tap POS & Payment, key in the total amount and tap Next.
Select the customer's payment method (for example Visa or Mastercard) and let the customer tap or swipe their card.
After a successful payment, the terminal shows the Treats QR code on screen (QashierXS and XS Plus) and prints it on the receipt. The customer scans it to collect the points.
Note: if the customer was attached to the sale, or paid with a card already linked to their Treats profile, the points are credited automatically and no QR code is shown.
Tip: a customer who is new to Treats is asked to sign up in the Treats web app when they scan the QR code.

Redeeming points
Because the terminal is not connected to your cash register, you enter the discount in the cash register yourself. Follow the steps in order.
Tap POS & Payment, then tap Customer at the top right.
Search for the customer by phone number or name. When the customer's details appear, tap Redeem.
Note: if the customer is not in your customer list, you can register them here. Registering them on the terminal does not sign them up for Treats; they still need to scan the QR code to create their Treats profile and earn points.
Enter the number of points to redeem, or tap Redeem Full to use all available points or Customize to key in an amount. Tap Confirm.
Important: agree the number of points with the customer before you confirm, because the terminal cannot check the cash register. For example, if your ratio is 1 point = MYR 0.05, redeeming 100 points gives MYR 5.00 off. The ratio is set for your account; by default 100 points = 1.00 in your currency (SGD 1.00 or MYR 1.00). To change it, contact Qashier Support.
The terminal shows "Please add [amount] discount to the order in your cash register." Enter that discount in your cash register, then tap Done on the terminal.
Your cash register now shows the amount payable after the discount. Key that amount into the terminal.
Note: the terminal shows "Points will be deducted only after payment completion." Points are deducted only once the customer's payment succeeds.
Select the payment method and let the customer tap or swipe their card.
What you should see
The transaction is complete. The terminal shows the customer's details, the points redeemed and their value.

Viewing transaction details
On the terminal: tap Transaction Record and select the transaction. It shows the points rewarded and the points redeemed.
In QashierHQ: open QashierHQ > Money & Finance > Transactions and select the transaction. It shows the points awarded and, where available, the value of the points redeemed.
If something goes wrong
Symptom | Cause | Fix |
No Customer button or Treats QR code on the terminal | Treats is not active, or the terminal is not in standalone payment mode | |
