Update the prices of many existing products at once by editing an Excel template and uploading it to QashierHQ. This is the quickest way to re-price a long product list.

Before you start
This tool updates existing products only. To add new products, use How to Create Products in Bulk from an Excel Template in QashierHQ.
Only the product's base price changes. Member prices, cost, price tiers and modifier prices stay as they are. Change those in the product itself, or see How to Create and Assign Price Tiers in QashierHQ.
Every price must be greater than 0 and have at most 2 decimal places.
Step 1: Download the template
Go to QashierHQ. In the left sidebar, under Products & Inventory, click Product Management, then choose the store in the Store picker.
Click Bulk Action > Update Product Price via Excel.
Click Download. A file named all-products.xlsx is saved. It lists your current products with their existing prices.
Step 2: Edit the prices
Open the file and find each product you want to re-price.
Change the price in column G (Price).
Save the file as .xlsx or .csv.
Notes
Keep column A (Product Id) exactly as it is. QashierHQ uses it to match each row to the product.
Columns B to F (Product Name, Tab, Category, SKU, Barcode) are for reference only. Changes there are ignored. Malaysian stores that use several tax rates also see a column H (Tax Rate); this upload ignores it too.
You can delete the rows of products you don't want to change, or simply leave them as they are. Rows whose price has not changed are skipped.
Step 3: Upload the file
Open the Update Product Price via Excel window again (Bulk Action > Update Product Price via Excel, as in Step 1).
Click the + button and choose your file.
Click Upload.
Check the result at the bottom of the window. It reads "X out of Y products updated". Any rows that failed are listed with the reason; if there are more than 10 errors, click Download Error List to get them as a file. Only rows without errors are updated. Fix the failed rows in your file and upload it again.
A green "File uploaded successfully" message also appears at the bottom right of the screen. It confirms that the upload went through, even when some rows failed, so always check the summary line.
What you should see
Open one of the products you re-priced in Product Management. The new price shows in the product details.
In this example, the price of "Gold Flower Earrings" changed from 20.00 to 25.00.
Common error messages
Row numbers count from the first product row, so row 1 in a message is row 2 in Excel (row 1 is the header).
Error message | Meaning |
Invalid product ID found on row X | The Product Id in column A does not match any product. Restore it from the downloaded template. |
Invalid price found on row X. Price must be a positive number. | The price is negative. |
No price found on row X. Do not leave this field empty. | The price cell is empty, is 0, or is not a number. A price cannot be set to 0 this way. |
Invalid price found on row X. Price can have a maximum of 2 decimals only. | The price has more than 2 decimal places. |
No file selected | You clicked Upload without choosing a file. |
