How to Set Up Treats Explorer (Store Map) in QashierHQ

Treats Explorer, Set Up Treats Explorer

Treats Explorer is the store map inside the Treats web app. It shows your stores to every Treats customer, even before they log in, so people nearby can find you and see the cashback you offer. You control how your brand and stores appear from QashierHQ.

Applies to: Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand · QashierHQ and the Treats web app · all Treats merchants.

Key features

  • Browse before login: customers can explore Treats stores on the map before they sign up or log in.

  • Your store details: when a customer taps your pin, they see your business category, brand name, distance, address and the Treats cashback percentage. You choose the display names and pin location.

  • Spotlight (Website Builder) integration: if you have set up Spotlight, tapping your store details opens your Spotlight page. Otherwise a standard store details page opens.

Before you start

Set up Treats Explorer in QashierHQ

  1. In QashierHQ, open Customers & Marketing > Treats Loyalty in the left sidebar. A red exclamation badge on the menu item means your store details in Treats still need to be verified.

  2. Click CUSTOMISE TREATS.

  3. Fill in the display details:

    • Brand Name Displayed In Treats: the brand name customers see in Treats.

    • Business Category Display: the category shown when a customer taps your map pin.

    • Under Treats Explorer (Map), for each store (Store 1 In Explorer, Store 2 In Explorer and so on): Store Display Name and Store Pin & Address Display.

  4. To place a pin, click CHOOSE ON MAP. In the Edit Store Pin & Address display dialog, search for your address, or click the map or drag the pin to your store's exact location. Check the Store Address Display field, then click SAVE in the dialog.

  5. Click SAVE at the bottom right of the page.

Note: these are display settings for Treats only. They do not change your registered business name or store address anywhere else in QashierHQ.

The same page also holds Points Expire After and, for stores with online payments, Award points to online transactions. See Treats: How to Set Up and Use Treats Loyalty for points expiry.

What you should see

Your stores appear on the Treats Explorer map with the display names, category and pins you saved. The red exclamation badge on Treats Loyalty clears once your store details are verified.

If Treats was only just activated for your account, the Treats Loyalty page asks you to check back tomorrow and CUSTOMISE TREATS stays greyed out until then.

How customers use Treats Explorer

  1. The customer opens https://treats.app in a browser or scans the Treats QR code on their receipt.

  2. They open Treats Explorer from the sign-up/login screen, the top right or bottom of the Treats main screen, or the Profile And Settings page.

  3. They pan the map to see all Treats outlets nearby.

  4. They tap a pin or use search to find a store, and see the business category, brand name, distance, address and Treats cashback percentage.

Note: if your brand has a Spotlight page, tapping the store details opens it. If not, a standard store details page opens.

Fix

Red exclamation badge on Treats Loyalty will not clear

Store pins or display names have not been verified and saved

Open CUSTOMISE TREATS, check every store's Store Display Name and Store Pin & Address Display, then click SAVE

CUSTOMISE TREATS is greyed out and the page asks you to check back tomorrow

Treats Explorer is still being set up for your account

Check back on the date shown on the page

Store missing from the map

The store's pin was not saved

Open CUSTOMISE TREATS, click CHOOSE ON MAP for that store, set the pin and click SAVE in the dialog, then click SAVE on the page

Tapping the store opens a plain details page instead of your website

No Spotlight page set up

Set it up under Customers & Marketing > Website Builder
