Summary: Qashier POS can show its screens in English, ภาษาไทย (Thai) or 中文 (Chinese). QashierHQ can show in English, 简体中文 or ไทย, plus several Beta languages. This article shows how to change the language on each.

Before you start
The default language on both Qashier POS and QashierHQ is English.
The POS language changes the words on the Qashier POS screens. It does not change the keyboard. To type in Chinese, Thai or Malay, see How to Change the Keyboard Language on Qashier POS (Type in Chinese, Thai or Malay).
The POS language is a store setting. It is saved to your store, so the Qashier POS terminals in that store use the same language.
Option A: Change the POS language on Qashier POS
Step 1: On Qashier POS, tap the menu ≡ and select Settings. Enter the Terminal PIN.

Step 3: Under POS Language, open the dropdown list and choose English, ภาษาไทย or 中文.
Step 4: Tap Save.
Choose the language under POS Language and tap Save
Step 5: Tap the back button ◁ at the bottom of the screen until you are back on the POS home screen.
What you should see: The Qashier POS screens now show in the language you chose.

Option B: Change the POS language from QashierHQ
Log in to QashierHQ and click the Settings (gear) icon at the top right.
Under Store, click Basic Settings.
Under POS Language, choose English, Thai or Chinese.
Click Submit.
What you should see: The language is saved to your store. On each Qashier POS terminal, go back to the home screen so it loads the latest settings.
Dual Language (English & 中文): When POS Language is set to English, a Dual Language (English & 中文) checkbox appears under it. Turn it on to show Chinese next to English on the main Qashier POS buttons and the staff PIN prompt, and to print Chinese next to English on receipts. The POS screens otherwise stay in English.
Change the display language on QashierHQ
In QashierHQ, click the translate icon (文A) at the top right of the screen. On a phone, tap your name at the top right, then tap the language shown in the menu.
Select a language.
What you should see: The page changes to the language you chose straight away, and QashierHQ remembers it the next time you log in.
QashierHQ is available in English, 简体中文 and ไทย, plus these Beta languages: 繁體中文, Melayu, Indonesia, Tiếng Việt, Tagalog, தமிழ், 日本語, 한국어 and မြန်မာ. Beta languages show a Beta badge in the list, and some terms may still show in English.
If something goes wrong
Symptom | Cause | Fix |
The POS still shows the old language after you tap Save | The POS loads its settings on the home screen | Tap the back button ◁ until you reach the home screen. If it still has not changed, close and reopen Qashier POS. |
