Summary: Edit, end early or delete a preset discount on the Discount Management page in QashierHQ, and understand what the Upcoming, Ongoing and Expired statuses mean.

Open Discount Management
All three tasks below start here.
Log in to QashierHQ.
In the left sidebar, under Products & Inventory, click Discount Management.
Select the store in the Store drop-down. Discounts are listed per store.
Find the discount. Use Search, Filter, or the All / Ongoing / Upcoming / Expired options above the list.
Edit a preset discount
Open Discount Management and find the discount (see above).
In the MORE ACTIONS column of that discount, click the pencil icon. The Edit Discount window opens. Clicking the row itself does not open it.
Make your changes.
Click Save Changes.

End an ongoing preset discount early
Open Discount Management and find the discount.
In the MORE ACTIONS column of that discount, click the ... icon.
Click End Early.
End Early changes the discount's end date to yesterday, so its status changes to Expired straight away.
End Early only appears for Ongoing discounts. Upcoming and Expired discounts show Delete only.
To cancel an Upcoming discount, delete it, or edit it and change its dates.
To run an ended discount again later, edit it (pencil icon) and set new dates.

Delete a preset discount
Warning: Delete takes effect as soon as you click it. There is no confirmation step, and you cannot restore the discount in QashierHQ. If you may need an ongoing discount again, use End Early instead.
Open Discount Management and find the discount.
In the MORE ACTIONS column of that discount, click the ... icon.
Click Delete.

Understanding the statuses
Each discount in the list shows one of three statuses under its title:
Upcoming: the start date has not arrived yet.
Ongoing: the discount has no date range (All Dates), or today is between its start and end dates. If you set specific days and times, the discount only appears on Qashier POS during those times, but the list still shows it as Ongoing.
Expired: the end date has passed.
What you should see
After Save Changes or End Early, the list updates and the status changes if the dates changed.
After Delete, a "Delete success" message appears and the discount disappears from the list.
If something goes wrong
What you see | Cause | What to do |
The page shows a promotion for Discount Management instead of your discounts | Discount Management is not switched on for the selected store. | Use the options on that page to activate it, or contact support. |
You can't find a discount | A different store is selected, or a status filter hides it. | Check the Store drop-down and choose All above the list. |
No End Early in the ... menu | The discount is Upcoming or Expired. | Edit its dates with the pencil icon, or delete it. |
You deleted a discount by mistake | Deleted discounts cannot be restored in QashierHQ. | Create it again, or contact support. |
