A combo is a set of items sold together as one product, usually for less than the items would cost separately, such as a burger set with fries and a drink. This article explains how combos work in Qashier and how to create one in QashierHQ.

What is a combo?
A combo groups several items into one product with one price. Customers pick one item from each part of the combo. Some examples:
F&B: a set meal with a main, a side and a drink, such as chicken burger + fries + soft drink.
Retail: related items (shampoo + conditioner, matching sheets + pillowcases), complementary items (camera + memory card, printer + ink), seasonal bundles, or a bundle that helps clear stock that sells slowly on its own.
Beauty: a full skincare routine (cleanser + toner + moisturiser + serum), a makeup look (foundation + concealer + blush + eyeshadow) or a haircare set (shampoo + conditioner + hair mask).
How combos work in Qashier
A combo category (for example "Set Meals") holds one or more combos.
Each combo has a name, a price and an optional image.
Each combo has combo sections, one for each part the customer chooses, for example Mains, Sides and Drinks.
Each section lists the products the customer can pick from. You can add an extra charge to a product in a section, for example for a large drink.

Combo sales appear in the Sales By Combo section of your sales reports, in QashierHQ and on the POS.
Before you start
Combos must be enabled for your store. If you select Combo when creating a category and see "Combo is not enabled for this store. Please contact our account managers via the live chat to enable it.", contact us through the live chat in QashierHQ.
Create the products you want to offer in the combo first. See How to Create Tabs, Categories and Products in QashierHQ.
Decide which store and which tab the combo category should appear under. The category is created under the tab you have selected.
Step 1: Create a combo category
Go to QashierHQ.
In the left sidebar, under Products & Inventory, click Product Management.
Select the store in the Store picker, then click the tab where the combo category should appear.
Click the + icon next to the word Category.
Enter a Category Name for this group of combos, for example Set Meals. This is the name of the category, not of an individual combo.
Below the name, switch the category type from Product to Combo.
Click Confirm. The combo category is created. Next, add the combos inside it.
Step 2: Add a combo and its sections
Click the combo category you just created.
Click Add Combo.
Enter the Combo Name and Combo Price. You can also add a Combo Image. A Tax Rate field appears if your store uses more than one tax rate.
Next to Combo Sections, click Add.
Enter a Combo Section Name, for example Noodles, and click Confirm.
Repeat for each part of the combo, for example a second section called Drinks. A combo can have up to 30 sections. Drag a section to change its order.

Step 3: Add products to each section
Click a section, for example Noodles.
Click Add/Edit Product.
Click a category name, then tick the products a customer may choose in this section.
Optional: to charge extra when a customer picks a product, click its Additional Price Per Quantity cell and enter the amount, for example 1.00 for a large drink. Leave it at 0 for no extra charge.
Click Done, then Confirm.
Click the next section, for example Drinks, and repeat.
When every section has at least one product, scroll down and click Confirm to save the combo.

What you should see
The combo appears in the combo category in Product Management, and on Qashier POS under the tab you chose. See How to Sell a Combo (Set Meal / Bundle) on Qashier POS.
Managing your combos
Edit a combo: click the combo in the list to open Edit Combo. You can change its details, sections and products, and set its POS Page Display Position.
Archive or delete: in Edit Combo, click Archive to hide the combo without deleting it, or Delete to remove it. Archived combos are listed under Archived Combo List. To restore one, tick it there and click Unarchive.
