Create a modifier set (for example Ice Cream Flavours) and add modifiers to it (for example Chocolate, with an optional extra price) in QashierHQ. Modifiers are the add-on options a customer picks for a product on Qashier POS.

Before you start
Modifiers belong to the store selected in the Store picker. If Chain Shop Management is enabled, they are shared across all your stores.
A modifier set name must be under 50 characters. A modifier name must be under 40 characters and cannot contain an underscore (_).
A modifier price can be 0. The POS then shows the modifier without a price.
Create a modifier set
Go to QashierHQ.
In the left sidebar, under Products & Inventory, click Product Management.
Select the store in the Store picker.
Click Modifiers.
On the left, next to Modifier Sets, click Add.
Enter the Modifier Set Name, for example Ice Cream Flavours.
Optional: set the rules now or later. Set limit for modifiers lets you enter a Minimum Quantity and Maximum Quantity of choices; Allow to select same modifier more than once lets a customer pick the same option twice; Mark as sold out makes every modifier in the set unavailable (shown as sold out on the POS) until you untick it. Click Confirm.

Create a modifier
Click the modifier set you created.
Click Create Modifier at the top right.
Enter the Modifier Name and the Price in your store's currency, for example Chocolate, 1.00. The price is added on top of the product's price.
Singapore only: tick BCRS Eligible if this modifier adds a pre-packaged drink covered by the Beverage Container Return Scheme. See [Singapore] Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS) Deposit in Qashier.
Click Confirm.
Repeat these steps for every modifier you want in the set.

New modifiers do not appear on the POS until you assign the set to a category or a product. See How to Assign Modifiers to Categories and Products in QashierHQ.
Tips
To change the order in which the POS shows modifiers and sets, click Change Sequence in the Modifiers window, drag them into place, then click Confirm Sequence.
To download a list of all your modifiers, click Export Modifier and confirm the CSV export.
