What You Need To Know About Foodpanda Integration

The integration of Foodpanda with Qashier POS enables merchants to utilize the Qashier POS system for receiving, accepting, and managing Foodpanda orders, menus, reports, and printing order chits. This integration eliminates the need for using multiple devices. providing a streamlined solution for efficient order management.

Here are some key information that you should look out for when managing your Foodpanda Integration:

1. Menu and service hours

The designated start time and end time are applicable to each day that is selected.

E.g. Monday to Thursday, 9am to 12pm

2. Taxes

Tax calculations and configurations will be handled on Foodpanda's platform. For any tax related matters, please contact Foodpanda support.

3. Orders Statuses to Look Out For

Available Order Types -

  • Pick-up (Now)

  • Pick-up (Scheduled)

  • Delivery (Now) - Delivered by Foodpanda

  • Delivery (Scheduled) - Delivered by Foodpanda

Acceptance of Orders - Qashier offers the option to choose between manual and automatic order acceptance. By default, the order acceptance setting is manual. However, if you wish to enable automatic order acceptance, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to QashierHQ

  2. Click on the gear icon (settings) located in the top-right corner of the page

  3. Within the settings menu, select Foodpanda

  4. Check the box labeled 'Auto Order Acceptance' to enable automatic order acceptance

Marked as Prepared - To notify the riders that the food is ready for pickup, you will need to manually click on the 'prepared' button once the food has been prepared

Marked as Picked Up - Once the customer (for pick-up) or rider (for delivery) has picked up the order, you need to manually click on the 'Mark as Picked-up' button in the Qashier POS

Rejection of Orders - When rejecting orders, you will be required to choose a reason from a list provided by Foodpanda

Voiding/Cancellation of Orders - If you decide to void an order, you are required to initiate the process by contacting Foodpanda through the live chat and request for the voiding of order.

Once the voiding request has been successfully processed by Foodpanda, the status will be updated automatically in the Qashier POS.

You are not allowed to manually void orders.

4. Receipts/Order Chits

Order Number Format -

  • For pick-up orders, the order number format will be as follows: FP #XXX(123)

  • For delivery orders, the order number format will be as follows: #xxxx-xxxx (#vvft-n2r2)

Rider/Customer Pickup Time - The receipt will display the pick-up time for both delivery and pick-up orders.

Discounts - Both the Foodpanda discount and the discount provided by your business, will be included in the receipt, transaction records and reports. However, the discounts are combined and will be listed as a single entry under "Discounts" in the reports

Fees - All fees, including the service fee (delivery fee and platform fee), small order fee, and priority delivery fee, are included in the receipt, transaction records, and reports. However, the fees are combined and will be listed as a single entry under "Fees" in the reports
